Looking at this morning’s weather forecast on BBC news this morning an orange weather warning had been given for an area around Burnley, Hebden Bridge and Hawes. I think the warning is for rain again.
So stay dry and safe fellow clarets, batten down the hatches and keep dry.

I'm glad it has been given a human name again because I don't think other humans would take the word 'storm' serious enough on it's own.

Dennis hasn’t been a human name for at least 40 years.

It's a name chosen for the headline writers count the number of ' dennis the menace' references after the weekend, just hope it's not as bad as predicted though.

A year ago today since we got caught up with Storm Dennis on our trip to Southampton - I think I am understating it if I said it was a bit wild and wet down at St. Mary's.

We opted to pay in a car park that day rather than our usual spot over the bridge. That proved to be a very wise decision given the weather when we came out.

That’s a fair distance but going over that big bridge can be bad enough on a good day.

We’ve had a spate of folk digging up old threads and it’s giving me a headache. I sat here for five minutes thinking I’m sure we’ve already had a storm dennis.
