The big fight.

Well I wanted to get to bed after MOTD and have a few hours before the fight. Then I started looking for live event streams on the fire stick and before I know it it's 2.42 giving me a measly 1 hr 40 mins to the alarm.

The undercard is awful so far. The highlight being Deontes fiancées cleavage. Do I
a) go to bed and pish the wife off once going up then again on alarm time
b) soldier on hoping the undercard improves and I don't crash out.
c) try to fall asleep downstairs ready for the fight and feel like a zombie when the alarm goes off

Oasis to a rap beat playing now. What is wrong with Americans!

Sebastian Fundore vs Daniel Lewis
What an odd fight.
Fundore could be good with 3 stone on him surprisingly hard hitting considering his skeletal frame.

Fury looks a little nervous to be expected.

I went to bed at 10. 2.5hours later was still awake staring at the ceiling. Managed to get some kip but feel like a zombie

This better be worth it.

He’s 53. And despite his success has had a hard life.

Think Wilder will win tbh. But hoping fury does it. My cousin and a couple of good mates at the game. Buzzing for them.

Wilder looks nervous. Wouldn’t look at him pre fight and didn’t expect fury to get at him like this.

Hope fury doesn’t burn out.

Fury is a much better boxer but will never be able to relax due to Wilder’s sledgehammer of a right hand.

Wilder looks physically and psychologically wrecked. The weights done him it looks.

He needs that punch now. But can he find it with that weight?

Going well for Fury but I can see him getting clocked with one as he gets more fatigued.

Fury won everything. From the fight to mind games. Making the champion gain an extra 1.5 stone and fight at a weight he’s never fought at was a master stroke. He had no energy or power.

Wilder looks seriously hurt. Hope he’s ok. That was the best performance ever.

I enjoyed the Joshua Klitschko fight. And have been to a few Fury fights I didn’t enjoy. But that was the greatest performance of any boxer. To come back from where he was physically and mentally and beat an undefeated world champion with wilders knockout record is unreal.

I was seriously worried. It looks like he has broken his jaw at the socket maybe and perforated his ear drum. Should have been stopped sooner.

Fury was phenomonal I'd like to watch it back closely and see which punch caused the damage. Maybe the one to the back of the head but it doesn't explain the jaw swelling. Wilder wasn't right after that and it was job done for Fury.

I can see why Wilder isn't a fan favourite of the American people with his ring walk very isolating for a lot of people and makes Fury there adopted boxing poster boy. Fury never ceases to amaze me , only criticism the weird tongue blood licking acting.

He's absolutely ace. I cannot see Wilder wanting that again. The next big fight in the heavyweight division has got to be a unified title fight between tyson and AJ.

Same. I was very worried something bad was going to happen. Wilder looks really badly hurt. Was totally confused and disoriented and his corner did the right thing. Funny thing is I said to my brother after about three rounds ‘I’d have thrown the towel in already’ he looked in so much trouble. Hope it’s nothing serious. While the win is brilliant. Health of both most important. And I can’t imagine the sort of damage those sort of repeated punches from a 6’9 20 stone bloke would do.

Wilder told Fury it was like being hit with pillows in the 1st fight. I don't think he will be back for the rematch and if he is it wont be for 18 months.

Also. The ref gave Wilder too much leeway / credit. There was times when the ref allowed wilder to recover. Like the points deduction and other times he gave him some breathing space. Personally think it should’ve stopped a lot earlier.

Credit wilder. He had some heart and bottle. But he shouldn’t have been allowed to last as long as he did.

My brother was saying the same how the ref was being too fair to Wilder and it may give him a chance. I couldn’t see wilder coming back but he definitely was right on how the ref was allowing Wilder a few chances. And ultimately and ironically could’ve been for the worse for wilder.

Almost certainly completely ****** his jaw up in at least one place. Without actually knowing which punch had done that it was obvious from his facial expressions and the swellings.
