Not really. My Dad banned my Mum from watching soaps in the living room. She'd disappear for hours to watch in the bedroom. Didn;t get dinner t'il 9pm most week nights. Haha

Never seen one of them but I lived up Brunshaw Road near the paper shop up to the age of 16 now my mate over the back fence on Hurstwood Avenue had telly on t'pipe which was good because you could watch Yorkshire TV on that and get their Sunday football show as well as /instead of Granada's .... great days

Andy, Bill and Ben work in the chippy on Canal Street in Manchester. Bosscat knows it. I have sneaky feeling he may know them.

It was a completely invented story by Miss Loo, who was especially angry that she was the only female present, and yet she spent every night alone sitting in the chair while Andy and Teddy (ahem!) went down in the basket.
