What to do on Saturdays??

No Clarets to watch for the next few week-ends, so this will be like an International Break or Summer, but colder.
I thought the great and the good that frequent this board would have some top class ideas, instead of the mundane sort the loft, garage, shed or garden, perhaps a spot of decorating, dross that Mrs CT has suggested.
Don't feel constrained to sensible ideas, this is the Bee Hole End Message Board after all.
Over to you!

More important, what's Jeff Stelling going to do?

Interesting situation re non-league football. It was left each Association to decide whether to play or not. Apparently all three tiers of the National League have been given the go ahead but Southern League has opted to cancel.
Probably you need to check the individual clubs o see if there is a game on or not.

Go and watch your local non league or semi pro side. Failing that spend the day in the boozer.

National League (ie, the Conference) goes ahead; Northern Premier League and North West Counties League both go ahead. (Southern and Isthmian Leagues, and Northern Counties East and Northern Leagues, have wimped out / agreed to cancel their fixtures [delete as appropriate!]
Colne have a home game at 3 pm subject to a morning pitch inspection.

Bumper crowds at non league games this weekend. As some suffer someone else always profits and in this case non league clubs profiting isn’t such a bad thing.

First ever game I saw was Bradford PA (v Fulham in the FA cup). I may just call back today.
And they are playing our landlords Curzon Ashton.

Few bits to do this morning, then going to take the dog for a big walk for 2 or 3 hours.
Yhen I'll be settling down with a few cold ones and getting stuck into a box set, only moving to replenish the beer and eat tea. Although opting for an easy oven type tea as it's rare to have a day where I can fully unwind with no distractions or commitments

There's usually local league football at the complex at the top of our street. Not sure if that's on. Box sets seems the way to go. Catch up on 'catch up' maybe. Nearest non league game is too far to travel.
