Spikeys up and about (no self isolation in the Hedgehog community...) spotted some messages on the lawn yesterday, so got some Hedgehog food while out shopping today.... put it out at 6pm and at 7.30 he/she was here feeding.

My brood, Spike, Holly, Cactus, Berberis and Snuffle are having a lie-in.
There's food out for them every night but as yet remains untouched.

Got a hedgehog box in my garden. It was occupied late last year. No idea if it still is but at this time of year, I might find out soon.

More food gone out tonight, fingers crossed they come for it.
One worry is they came out of hibernation early due to the mild winter with very little food about naturally, and they were then caught out by the floods and cold snaps.

Just because there's no toilet paper doesn't mean you have to do it in the garden.

I believe they stockpile hedges. It's in the name.
No, the only one stockpiling food here is greedy bosscat. When the rest of us run out, he has three handy-sixed sandwich filling ready to come running!
(Sorry!

)

There was one large male Choggy (Spike or Berberis) in the top corner of my garden last night, so hopefully some of the others will appear soon.

We have Frogspawn in our Pond now so life is definitely returning to the garden here ...
All the sparrows acting like rowdy bloody teenagers and the rest of our avian visitors doing what comes naturally this time of year.
