Yes. Less interaction with other people. They're not on my list of favourite things.

I'm eating better ( crisps and biscuits non stop at work). Noticing wildlife more. I think people are saying good morning and smiling more when out on your walk.

Horses for courses.
I enjoy the fact that I don't need an excuse to be anti-social but I'm also desperately missing company and being able to go down the pub for a chat and a catch up with mates.

No cold callers and almost traffic free roads when cycling.

Popped up to our local PO this morning to pay my papers and pick up a prescription for my Sister who also lives in the village. Had a chat with a few friends (over 2 mtrs apart

) when dropping the Prescrip in at my sisters letterbox... all said the same the worst thing is not being able to pop into the pub and catch up and chew the fat with friends...
Although we do have our village whatsapp group for quizzes and stuff ... and had a couple of pints last night ... all sat in our own front rooms at home & socialising on Whatsapp. We had a music quiz set by a DJ friend and I sent out the quiz I put on here yesterday....
The garden is looking very tidy ... but I am slowly running out of excuses to not tidy my garage up so the wife is making huge hints

looks like will have to bite the bullet and get out into the garage this afternoon ... but at 3pm its youtube and Burnley v Man Utd (I think from 2009)

I've cycled through London like I'm in '28 Days Later', not saying I like it but it's something I'll likely remember forever, all the places usually teeming, deserted.

There's a number of things, getting up for work an hour and 45 minutes later than usual, getting more exercise and saving pots of cash.
I'm also healthier as a result of not spending 3 hours a day on my daily commute, i used to get an electric shock type feeling in my chest at least once a week, thought it might be linked to my asthma but since i haven't driven for 3 and a half weeks it has gone away, so i am of the opinion that it is linked to air pollution from the crap pumped out by vehicles.
We're now undefeated in the Prem in exactly 3 months today as well

The lockdown is a godsend to sort out things in the house which have needed sorting for a few years.
Just hope the lockdown doesn't end until the house is tidy - I need a few more days/weeks yet !!

Rolling out of bed and starting work without worrying about the rigmarole of the morning commute.
Finishing work earlier as a result.
Getting to spend a lot more time with my little boy (but still having work as an excuse to take a break from him!)
Enjoying the nice weather in the garden.
Spending far less money on fuel, eating and drinking out etc. Although spending a lot more in the supermarkets.
Iβm finding the whole thing pretty relaxing but obviously missing socialising and seeing friends and family.

I live in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
The city has been "locked down" for 3 months now.
Apparently the restrictions were lifted 8th April , but....
I need a medical certificate to leave the community where I live but....I'm still not allowed out to get one from the hospital....
catch 22 !

Nope nothing for me. Its nice seeing the busy main roads peaceful and quiet at rush hour but not at the expense of being stuck inside and only witnessing it on the odd day I wander up to the garage for a few supplies

Agreed. Iβve read my son a story every night for the last 3 weeks - something I donβt ordinarily get to do. Priceless.
Also getting loads of house jobs done, and running.
Also had some deliverables to particularly pressing deadlines that were hard to do from home, so other side of it is that it has been quite stressful WFH with the kids around. Thankfully, theyβre done now!

Nope - nothing. I usually have 1 lazy weekend in about every 10, and now 4 on the bounce, and confirmed at least another 4 here in Ireland.
Just got to get on with it, nothing we can do, but no positives unfortunately.

A lot seems to depend upon what you were used to enjoying most before the lockdown but are now temporarily unable to. Luckily for me, not too much has had to change.
Sometimes though I do have to give myself a kick in the pants:
I have a friend who had a double mastectomy a few months ago; the operation almost certainly saved her life. As a young mum, she now has much to look forward to again: the months of (ultimately unsuccessful) treatment and the great anxiety it caused her husband and two little children are gone.
In a typical year around 450 people in the UK die of cancer EVERY DAY. But just imagine if one wonderful day it was discovered that, just by changing your daily routine and staying away from others for a few weeks or months, it would hugely boost your chances survival..... that's what I try to remind myself every time I get the urge to go out to the shop for something I don't absolutely need.
Stay well everyone

It's not even much fun being off work really with everything shut. I suppose I've got a few things done around the house, but in short I can't wait for the lockdown to be lifted. I've been OK up to now but starting to get really fed up.

It is nicer getting up later in the morning, and being able to go to bed a little later.
But for me that wore off after a couple of days, and even when I go for a long walk, I just feel so sluggish.
Missing football terribly too - having to watch old games on YouTube during these Easter 'holidays' to keep me from going mad.

Seeing the first, new grandson and his Mum and Dad just hours after coming out of Torquay hospital last weekend on Zoom, decorating the whole house, cycling, walking, sorting the garden and garage out, sitting in the sun, beer, gin and tonics, decent food and not working - what's not to like ?

So I just walked to the shop and walked past 18 people or couples. 1 (ONE) said thank you, after I had to walk into the middle of the road for almost every one of them.
Ignorant set of c*nts.
This social distancing didn't last long. People seem to already think that it no longer applies when you're out walking or shopping.
And the traffic didn't seem to be much quieter than any other Easter weekend.
If lockdown is tightened it wouldn't surprise me at all. People are just too dumb.

That's an interesting take. I would have thought however that your hayfever would be aggravated by atmospheric pollution.
Make the most of the clean air!
