I was reading an interesting article on this in yesterday's i-paper. Jim Lovell is now 92 and Fred Haise 86. They still celebrate "Boom Day", April 13th.
Interesting, too, that Tom Hanks' phrase in the film had been tweaked from "Houston, we've had a problem." and that Flight Director Gene Kantz never uttered the words, "Failure is not an option."
It's still my favourite film.
