"Hello Mum"

"Mum says hi"

"OK what's your sister's name?"

"Hello sister"

"Sister says hi"

Yesterday's performance by Arnie must go down in history as one of the weirdest performances ever on a game show.

Haha. I agree I thought Arnie was definitely on something

Did you watch Celebrity Millionaires? I thought Clarkson wanted Charlotte Church off at 32k when she asked his help. Question was in which battle was Custer killed. Little Big Horn or three absolutely implausible ones
maiiny in Europe. He said he didnt know. Suspect.

The wrong answers were O.K. Corral, Gettysburg and I think the Alamo, he couldn't even tell her it wasn't the OK Corral.

If you’ve seen Clarkson host that program before you’d have realised he has really poor general knowledge.

Wasnt one Waterloo? Hehe.

Every boy who has read about the Wild West and cowboys and Indians would know about Custers Last Stand. Mind you watching the Chase and other quiz programmes I do winder what people are taught and read these days. Certainly British history ihas more or less been deleted.

I have seen the programme with Clarkson before of course. This was a celeb one though. I would say he's extremely careful not to give an incorrect answer. But I do believe he would have known the answer to this. See what I have written above.

Yeah, I’m surprised he didn’t know it to be honest but maybe as the money was for charity he was being more careful with his answer. But considering how well travelled and long in the tooth he is I’m surprised his general knowledge is so poor.

I know its not thread subject but on the subject of this particular Millionare programme I was expecti g Richard Osman to get a higher amount. Just shows that all the best brains are on these threads. Bosscat leader of the pack!!!

Clarkson has a very keen interest in military history and there’s no way in holy hell he didn’t know the answer , almost preposterous.

Just watched Arnie on Catchup. Wouldn't want him doing my accounts! Definitely a strange one and/or on something!

The Chase is fixed. The beast got 17 in a row t’other night and so did I. I’m not that good. Happens to often for my liking. Plus the team having to wait for the name to be called, slowing them down. Love the questions, hate the format.

It does make you wonder why people go on. The win ratio must be appalling. And as a contestant, given there must be an audition phase, you must be giving up at least 2-3 days for little chance of success.

The audition for The Chase lasts for 1hour and the nearest one is usually at Blackpool football club. You go in with about a dozen other applicants, and start by having to talk for a few minutes about yourself. After that, you have few general knowledge quizzes, and finally you get split into 2 teams and play the chase against the other team.
