ps. the first four films on that initial list make me ashamed of the british film industry.

Dunkirk was pretty good.

Some people have a limited range in their film viewing - not seeing anything pre-war on there or too much from the 40's and 50's

Recently watched Withnail & I, too. In the top 20 at least.

A British film which should be in everyone’s top 10 is Sexy Beast. It’s in my top 5 all time films. Some excellent performances in it but Ben Kingsley's role is something else. Absolute nutter!
