Becomes first Burnley player to score in every month of year. Not including friendlies obviously.

Absolutely. Anyone want to own up. Respect if you do. He has got us playing football. Him and Wood are the future.

When we signed him I thought he wasn’t the answer or good enough anymore. I was wrong. He has been brilliant.

Would be interesting to know how many points he has gained us. A number of 1-0 wins where he has scored, and draws too. Suspect he is a clear leader for us and maybe the PL in general

A class footballer who combines great strength and athleticism with heading ability, a hammer of a shot and a clever footballing brain. It's proving a magnificent return for Jay.

According to Karen Carnage heading is not his thing.

The lad is absolute quality. An all round player who gives everything. He must have felt pressure moving back to his home town club. He has delivered when he's had the opportunity, and must now be considered number one striker at the club. We're a better team when he plays.

Totally agree. He's an intelligent footballer and encourages us to get the ball on the deck more

Leave the lads hair alone.... do you not know your bible. Remember poor old Samson, when Delilah took the scissors to his coiffure his power disappeared.

Long live Jayrod and his man-bun 😁

Watched it on my phone on a dodgy stream that kept breaking up. Was it a clean header? If it was it’s the best header I’ve ever seen. After Mee’s last week!

Point at Villa, the vital winner at Bournemouth, and the winners against Watford & West Ham, so by my reckoning, that's 10 points his goals have earned us this term. :)

Have to admit I was against sighing Jay (or Ings).

I thought injuries and age were against jay. How wrong I was. Perfect signing on and off the field.

Well done Sean dyche. And Jay Rodriguez.

To say nothing about his great strike against United at Old Trafford. Like all the rest of our players, he really puts in a shift and wants us to win!

Yes it's not just his goals, important though they clearly are, it's his work off the ball, and creating space for others that allows us to play, that makes him indispensable to our starting XI.

He's obviously relishing his second coming with the Clarets, and it's great to see, i was in 2 minds about his return, but he's proved a steal at £10m.

Simple though really --he is a good player and has done well to get over the injuries he had and give performances like he has in recent games. A Burnley lad through and through and a great acquisition!

I didn’t think he’d be adequate enough for the Premier League. 10 goals ain’t to be sniffed at though. Great signing.

Jay Rodriguez now has 8 goals/assists in 13 starts in 2020- deputised for the injured Ashley Barnes brilliantly, adding some guile compared to the usual Wood-Barnes front 2

Major reason why Burnley now sit in 9th & a staggering 22 points above the relegation spots #twitterclarets https://t.co/BRP2eSzJop

The first few minutes at Old Trafford showed what Jay Rod is about, the pressing and harassing of United's back 4 set the tone for a marvellous win there.

Got to admit although I wasn’t against signing Jay, I did think the £10m was too much.

As it turns out £1m per point which in turn has earned us directly then it’s turned out to be a bargain

I was happy he signed but to be honest I didn’t expect this much from him especially after his slow start. What a fantastic signing he’s been. He’s a really classy player and has a bit of everything, including importantly knowing how to find the back of the net.

I have said quite a few times on here since he first got in the team, we simply play better when he starts. His link-up play between midfield attack is outstanding, plus he scores very good, important goals. So pleased he came back home.
