My first thought, when it happened! They showed the camera behind Jay, on the replay and there was a cowering V-D turning away! Ha! Wimp!

It's real strength to not turn.
See Tarks, Mee, Taylor, Cork, etc etc.
So many so called better players avoid being hit, Stones is one than springs to mind, There are so many more.

The same photograph is in The Sun this morning, my first thought when I saw it was Sean Dyche wouldn't be pleased if it was his defender.

Its a pleasure to read the comments in the Guardian. Mostly very sensible constructive points made. Burnley, his Eminence and of course Sean Dyche especially, receiving generous but well earned plaudits from Liverpool fans. Its mature. Sometimes the comments in other news oulets I think at times are made by remedial class morons.
How long can we keep Dyche. A top, top club surley must make a move before too long. It will be a sad day.

What top club though? Don't think any of the teams above BHA will be looking for a new manager any time soon, apart from possibly Newcastle and Palace. Spurs could be as well because Jose is there, but it would be an unlikely match there.
Of the teams below in the PL, only West Ham seem to be a serious possibility and I can't see Moyes lasting long. Other than that, Sean would have to drop down level for Villa or maybe Forest or Derby if they don't get up this time. All big risks for him.

Yes it is just natural to turn. To stand and risk your softer bits is literally mind over matter!
Our players are very brave!

Well a bigger club for example Aston Villa. Maybe. He is highly respected and continues to burnish his credentials.
Sheffield United are having a wonderful season but can they maintain it as Sean Dyche and Burnley have done? These things don't do unnoticed.
I'm not wishing SD to leave of course. In fact the opposite. Life contract would suit me. I just look at some managerial appointments though and it makes me think
What qualified Arteta for Arsenal, even Frank Lampard at Chelsea
