I'd be happy with a draw in this game. I'm still thinking Europe is unlikely, but would love a top 10 finish and think Everton pose the biggest threat to that so hoping they don't get three points here.

I notice the lad Daniel Podence is starting for Wolves today, he was the tricky winger that caused us plenty of problems in the Olympiacos tie, he'll prove to be a good signing for them, Traore is on the bench.

Quiet start to proceedings.

Bad result for us. Was hoping for an Everton win!

Wolves should see this out easily now, we certainly should finish above Everton, they look really poor, especially on the road.

Pickford's a lucky boy there, that's his 2nd spill of the game, are you watching Gareth Southgate.

Pickford beaten on near post again. Though it was a hard shot.

Nothing to do with today's football, but I've just seen this Twitter comment. Priceless.

Liverpool at home in the Premier League this season:

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWD

The D stands for ‘Dyche’

Everton are really a nothing football club who have offered little to the Premier league. It is about time they spent some time in the championship, they are always mid table or no higher than 6th

But he passes the ball well. Often, as I see, from inside the net.

That's exactly the sort of comment that really riles us when they say that about Burnley.
If you look at the records, Everton are one of the historic greats, in fact I think they've had more seasons in the top flight than anyone else except Arsenal.

Exceptional club. Very lucky not go down in 1998 but it would be hard to imagine the top division without them.

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace 1-0
Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal 1-1
AFC Bournemouth v Leicester City 1-2

For a bit of fun, stick your predictions in for the remaining games, before the second game kicks off.

The point is that they offer little excitement for the neutral, as they are never involved in a champions league spot nor an end of season relegation battle.

The last 20 years we have achieved far more than Everton with our 3 promotions and 2 relegations

Stoke 1 up at home to Birmingham. be a big win that, Sam starts.

Swans-Leeds 0-0, 20 minutes gone. Swansea win would be good for 2 reasons, keeps Rovers at bay, and also keeps the automatic spot in play.

Not convinced with that one. Although his shirt seemed to have very large shoulders, before the sleeve started.

Very close.

VAR controversy again. A lucky break for Villa. Ah! Jon Moss on VAR that explains it then.

That looked like it was his shoulder? Perhaps they need to have some sort of mark on the shirt to differentiate between arm and shoulder?

With the change in the handball law yet again that won’t be ruled out next season.

If he gave the goal it has to stand. It has to be a clear and obvious error to disallow it, allegedly

Maybe back at Chelsea after the end of the contract period?

No it doesn’t have to be a clear and obvious error. Any use of the hand or arm, deliberate or not, and the goal has to be disallowed. This is not VAR but the new handball law brought in this season by IFAB.
