That IS worth celebrating.
Only 20 years ago we were happy just to be out of the basement divisions in England.

High powered computer simulation involving all sorts of technical stuff and electrical things. It's done in a white room full of machines with buttons and lights and it makes bleeping and whirring noises.
There's a man with a white coat and a clipboard who walks around making notes of stuff.
Or else on the back of a fag packet.
Good to see that we're only one place behind Paralympic Marseille.

This is the UEFA calculations room where they figure out all this technical stuff. It's the same room they work out who the trickiest possible team it would be for Burnley to draw in the Europa Ligue:

Nah, if it was that room we’d be at least number 6, possibly even the new number two.

Please don't question it martin. Questions are a burden to others.

So in fact we do know who is Number One.

It is a good point though. Does this list contribute to the co-efficient for UEFA draws?
Anyways it is a really proud moment for the club in my eyes

I may be corrected but I am sure the co-efficient for seeding in UEFA draws are based off that clubs performance in European competition over the previous 5 seasons as well as the country's co-efficient from where the team has qualified from.

Sadly not. UEFA's coefficient is basically only a good thing for teams who regularly get into Europe.
UEFA calculate 2 things:
1. They calculate the
total coefficient over a 5 year period for the selected club. E.g in our case, in the weird points system UEFA has, we get 2.5 points for being eliminated in the Europa League Play Offs.
2. They calculate the
average coefficient for a 5 year period based on the total points of all the clubs in the country. E.g England got roughly 88.2 points over 5 years, divide by 5, you get roughly 17.6 points
Whichever one is higher, that's the coefficient used in seeding.
So in order for burnley to get better seeding, we basically need to get to the Europa League Group Stage about 2 or 3 times and do well.

Only 6 places behind Milan. Can't understand why Jeff would have been interested in a move to Milan looking at that....

The list doesn't make any sense to me, the reigning World, European and newly crowned Priemer League champions aren't number 1. How does that work?

It’s very much a reflection of current form and seems to be based on results and whether you were expected to win each match. So Liverpool dropped points as they were expected to beat us (they must have been 2nd before the draw with us) and we scored 65 points, shooting up the table, because no one is expected to get a result an Anfield.

What a night it has been. Burnley don't usually score a last minute equaliser at home.
I have a total coefficient of 29 following today's action.
