Of those 17 goals he scored in season 69/70 there is always one that stands out for me. It was at Old Trafford in March 1970 in a game that ended 3-3. Alex Stepney mishit a goal kick which landed at the feet of 'Skippy' some 35 yards from goal. He got the ball out in front of him took a few strides and then with no thought of playing someone else in just hammered the ball, left-footer, past a bewildered Stepney. Think that was the second goal, putting us 0-2 up inside the first 15 minutes or so.

Arthur Bellamy used to come up to St Theodores to train us on Tuesdays (unless Burnley had lost on the Saturday or had a Tuesday Game) . A proper Gentleman

You will go a long way to find a nicer bloke than Arthur and his wicked sense of humour.

Maybe I should, seems as if it has misled a lot of people. I've just checked and that article has had more traffic than any other article in some time. And it was all unintentional.
