The list of Talksport regulars who are truly awful at their job is a long one.
However, who do you enjoy listening to? Or at the very least can tolerate?
Danny Kelly and Simon Jordan are easily the best for me. Max Rushton is another one. That’s about it though...

They have some interesting press guys on some of their shows
Trans Europe Express can be a good listen, although Goldstein is the wrong presenter for that
Edit - agree with your 3 suggestions too

Awful radio station. Only care about the big teams. Totally biased. Would rather listen to PunjabiFM than these idiots.
Hawksby and Jacobs - Pillock's of the highest order

Brilliant station.
Jim White, Adrian Durham, Darren Gough, Darren Bent and Alan Brazil are all brilliant. Professional. Unbiased. Knowledgeable.

Yes, the Darren Bent who after the City away game, did the most disgraceful tweet against Burnley FC, very professional indeed.

Not a dig at the OP cos at least he’s asking for opinions. But the amount of posters who slate this radio station and MOTD each and every week is tiresome. It the same ones “talkshite ya ya ya”, then proceed to listen to it again, and post again and so on and so on. Just don’t listen to it FFS

Rapidly going down hill
Hawksbee and Jacobs - Really like them but their show became tired a while ago. Still like the clips of the week though
Like Danny Kelly and Simon Jordan
Durham is actually a knowledgable presenter, but he ruins it with his constant agenda driven drivel.
Daren Bent - Truly awful, states the bleeding obvious all the time or just agrees with everyone.
Darren Gough - Comes across as thick
Laura Woods - Bland

I was just about to say the same thing. I've been listening for years and it's OK. It's just radio, not sure why people get so heated about it. I mean just turn it off/over . I do that as soon as I hear Jeremy Vine on Radio2 I have learnt not to punch the windscreen nowadays.

Tbh, I don’t listen to it unless I need to to listen to us. It just amazes the same people whinge about the same thing over and over. I understand if it’s something you have no control over, but not when you have the power to change it.

Still tune in for clips of the week on fridays Hawksbee n Jacobs, it heralds the start of the weekend.
Given up on the rest. Listen to its sister station, Talk radio, on DAB +.
Talkradio is apparently the fastest growing radio station in the world. Taken listeners off LBC and 5Live.

I haven't listened to this station for years, it doesn't sound like i'm missing a lot, but it does baffle me that people constantly complain about it, yet they still continue to tune in, if you don't like them then don't listen, there's plenty of other media outlets especially in the digital age.

Enjoy Rushden and Glendenning on a Sunday but that's about it.
Used to like Colin Murray's show.

Don’t listen to it much but always enjoy Max Rushden and Barry Glendenning if I’m out in the car on a Sunday morning. Simon Jordan always gives good insight too.

Aye, Wile's their arch critic on here.
Doesn't like MOTD, either.

Sometimes unfairly criticised I feel but yes :
- horrendously biased to top 6 teams in terms of extent of coverage (obviously listenership related)
- some presenters awful..Andy Goldstein, Jason Cundy , Jim White at the top of this list for me. Brazil not much better.
- and worst of all the constant ad breaks with the same, same , same, same lousy adverts over and over
However some good presenters - Danny Kelly, Simon Jordan , Durham and Gough (despite their regular idiocy to provoke "debate" I think they are an OK listen, Glendinning and Rushden and Hawksbee and Jacobs. All fine by me.

There's a group of presenters on a Thursday evening, who struggle with proper English, and cannot talk about anything outside of the m25.
Some programs are worth a listen, but not as many as there used to be. Match day coverage is ok.

Not as good as it used to be in my opinion, but there's a slot at the very end of the sports bar programme, just before 1am, where the presenters (usually Goldstein and Cundy) play a game entitled 'play your cards wrong' which is often hilarious!

what's good or not good for listeners is all subjective.
Over the years though (in my opinion), this station has gone from rancid to unadulterated audio excrement.
Without exception, All their presenters and co presenters are dreadful.
From the corpulent sweating mound that is Alan Brazil, to the thick beyond belief Georgie Bingham.
I am surprised there are enough people out there who relish the oh so obvious tactic of host and co host taking differing stances on the pointless subjects these thrash out in their dreary fashion every day.
Its a sewer pipe basically, betting, inane ******* adverts aimed at cockney ******* with more money than sense.
When they poach some has been from another channel, the embarrassment factor of them having to flog some banal product or other in between more adverts for betting apps is tiresome times ten. EX BBC types end up at talksport, like pairs of soiled and unwanted underpants.
Goes without saying that Arsenal and Spurs are the prime focus for the amateurish witterings.
As for Jim White!!! vomit inducing nonentity who sucks up to half wittted co presenters who epitomise inarticulacy.
I have a choice whether to listen or not, but its a poor state of affairs when slop like this is now the main radio sports station in the UK.

I think the main reason people continue to listen is that there is no viable alternative. 5live does some good coverage, but it isn’t just a sports station. Huge gap in the market for a high quality sport radio station. Maybe The Athletic could muscle in on this?

Simon Jordan is the only person on there who isn’t bothered about playing the good cop, bad cop game, and provides insight.
