Yes i saw this fact the other day, shows how bizarre the football calendar is right now, but i suppose they have to try and get on with next season if they can. This also demonstrates how many teams are involved in the CL, most people only really take notice once it reaches the group stages, but there's a plethora of matches beforehand.

Barcelona and Bayern games are last 16 ties not quarter-finals. From the quarterfinals on all the games are one off contests to be played in Germany. To ensure they wrap this season's comp up as quickly as possible.

The 2 preliminary round ties are 1 legged and are being played at a neutral stadium, Centre Sportif de Colovray, Nyon in Switzerland which is directly across the road from UEFA's HQ building.

Linfield won 2-0 to advance to the preliminary final.

Chelsea getting a thumping 4-1 on the night 7-1 on aggregate, Barca heading through, Barca-Bayern QF is a tasty prospect.

Atletico Madrid: Two unnamed individuals test positive for coronavirushttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53715795

But it doesn't appear to have impacted on whether the tie will go ahead or not.
