3.5 million a year wages shouldn't be out of our range with the amount of year's we've been in the prem and the money we have taken out of it, I think by now our top end earners should be around 80k

He may be surplus to requirements but they will still want over 20m for him

Looks like we'll be getting a lot more "wishful thinking" posts than actual links to possible transfers before next season. Things are ominously quiet on the transfer front and the only links are all old regurgitated rumours. I hope I'm wrong but I really can't see the board giving SD the money he needs to strngthen our squad sufficiently. We might struggle next season if we have injuries to key players.

Good player, right position but wages definitely too much. And there is Liverpool’s track record of rip-off fees

When you look at the teams around us (league table wise) not much business has been done by anyone apart from Brighton with a couple of teams making permanent signings of previous loan players
Nothing to panic about yet but the likes of Shaqiri will be way out of our sights
If we are looking at any Prem League teams I can only see it being financially viable for their younger players and we all know SD doesn't favour those types
Championship and below will be our market

At least he shouldn't be tired after just 265 minutes of top level football since June 2019.

It's not what you spend, it's who you spend it on. I'm not convinced, if we we were able to spend £60 million on a player that Dyche would pay it if he could get an equally good player for £25 million. I wouldn't be embarrassed. I'd be quite pleased we bagged a bargain.

Absolutely not someone I would want to bring in on the wage structure we have. Another show pony. Loads of lovely touches but never plays regularly for any English teams.

We can't afford to miss when spending those funds. I'm much happier with the Brownhill types of purchases. Hungry with desire and enough talent.

Yes I did, I thought we needed to freshen things up and I wasn't on my own was I ????? But most don't have the ball's to admit it.

Fortunately we turned things around and not one single fan including myself could of seen that coming, if they didn't they wouldn't be in charge now, the management team turned it around and for that they are fantastic and the right team to run the club at this moment but thing's change and so do people's opinion

Shaqiri no thanks, and even if we were interested he's well out of our budget, and i'll be surprised if our top earners are on anything like 80k a week. they may do well with bonuses, but a basic wage of that amount no chance,and nor should we be offering those crazy sums.
