Since June 2020 there is a total absence of any of our population adversely affected by Corona Virus.Mauritius took all precautions for the safety of the population .Schools ,public places stores and shops were closed. Only very needy people could use the streets . even the public beaches ,parks and gardens were devoid of public attainments.

We have cases registered from foreigners and Mauritians living abroard. they were directed to quarantine buildings specially made for them for a period of 5 days .None of his relatives could meet an affected patient Safety was assured as these buildings were under watch24-hour a day . Only after having been totally cured ,they were released to go home .
however,10 deaths occurred out of which five were foreigners .

We are about to open our shores for tourists and foreign business men .unfortunaly only from a selected number countries .We do not want Corona Virus to visit us a second time .
