I’d seen her posts on twitter and didn’t clock she was up your way. You get the feeling they are so close to a cancer cure all and then covid comes along and the hunt for a vaccine takes over. 9-12 months is not long but pray they find an extension for the lass. Hope she enjoys her meal and no praise is high enough for Jay and his rapid response.

Jay epitomises everything that is great about Burnley. Understated, determined and decent. Love the way he plays, works so hard but has a real touch of flair and great technique. He puts himself about and is never bullied but is never arrogant or nasty.

Played against his dad - he stamped on my nether regions but couldn’t get annoyed as he was partly responsible for creating the legend that is Jay Rod
