Tomorrow friendly v PNE will NOT be on YouTube after Burnley refuse.

Both of Preston's previous pre season games have been available to watch on YouTube they was hoping for the same tomorrow but Burnley for some strange reason have requested for it not to be shown.

Seems strange to me ? What are we hiding ? Would of been nice for our fans.

Dyche won't want future opponents watching us. We might have new ideas for next year?

Or any trialists?

Or criticism if we play bad?

I imagine the highlights (??) will be available to fans on Clarets Player. But it does seem a little OTT to refuse Preston from showing the match.

Downright peevish.

I can only hazard a guess that we've maybe got a trialist playing, beyond that I see no obvious reason why we'd request the match not be shown.

It's not great PR from the club on the face of it. but they may have valid reasons. Just seems bizarre to me.

Don't jump to conclusions and start whingeing. No one knows why Burnley don't want it to be shown and there might be very good reasons.

Maybe after the game we might find that a number of 'Trialists' have played. Who knows but I'm sure that there will be a good reason behind it.

What Premierleague team has trialists in 2020 ?

You don't just get a trial for a Premierleague club, or do you ?

People don’t turn up for friendlies so I’d not worry about not being able to watch it online.

Could be trialling new players, systems or both.

No problem with this.

All proper games will be on soon.

They just keep on finding ways to turn fans off from following.
Quite pathetic in my view.
I don’t mind them hiding transfer activity until the deal is done but the lack of updates on injuries is another that drives me mad.

Ha - imagine being turned off because you can't watch a pre season friendly against Preston Never Ever from a fixed camera on Youtube.

10th in the premier league, for many the best players you're ever likely to see in your lifetime, the best manager you'll ever see...... and you're going to turn it in because you can't watch a pre season game on Youtube. How's your perspective?

I think we had a trialist in one of our squads at the weekend. They could be for the U23s, though.

What's the big issue? It's a friendly, a kickabout. I can't recall getting excited about watching pre-season friendlies online in the past.

No one thought it was being shown until Lancs Live reporter number 1 said it was. Then lo and behold Lancs Live reporter number 2 tells us it isn’t. Still, it got them more hits on their site.

One would assume a friendly would be used to test out strengths and weaknesses.... why on earth would we want to give a heads up to the Premiership of what we may be trying out to unsettle them?

I’d be far more concerned if we were showing our working out to all and sundry on YouTube.

I'll be the d1ck, why would rugby sides be bothered about our strengths and weaknesses?

I know it's not funny, but some of the sad folk like to poke fun at it, so I'll save them the bother.

Comms Cam Live is a live video feed of the ClaretsPlayer commentators on Youtube. I think they did it for both FA Cup games last season and a pre-season friendly at home.

Not a particularly interesting watch but it does mean the commentary is available without paying for Clarets Player.
