I always like to have articles prepared for new signings. I have a couple in place currently. Will I be able use them? Possibly and here’s a clue to who one of them could be.

Apparently Messi was recently asked why he's interested in becoming a Claret and his reply was
"Because we're Burnley, not Barcelona".

We can't be signing that Argentine lad, Andy Murray has it on good authority that he's going to Hibs.

Regarding Messi, what's the sporting challenge of going to Manchester City or PSG? Going to Burnley on Burnley wages (he doesn't need the money) represents a chance to really measure his career, playing for Burnley with the idea of winning the 20-21 PL title.
It's the best thing he could do.
It 's a good steppng stone to player manager, whether Dyche might feel threatened in that respect, who knows.
It's also would be an anti-greed virtual signal for taking regular wages, he could even give to charity, after all how many Wetherspoons cooked breakfasts can a small bloke like that, eat?

Don't worry, if Messi was Spanish, Dyche would only need to serve up a Spanish omelette, a "tortilla de patatas" which isn't far off. However, with Messi being Argentinian, he'd probably need to whip out the meat (

) for a hearty stew.

I think someone may have misunderstood when Dyche said our recruitment focus is now going to get messy.

i read a piece about 3 years ago where it said messi liked playing football when it rained, he also said he liked traditional local foods.
That to me is enough to make me think Burnley is in his sights, Oddies bakery and guaranteed to be p*****g it down weather, its not beyond reason he might arrive here shortly.
