Absolutely. Nothing better than seeing young players get their first games but to be so many of them out there and for them to do so well was a bit special. Even Glenno came on for that late cameo and nearly set up a goal. So, so pleased for all of them tonight.

Good to see the young lads getting a chance to show what they can do, Dunne seems to be quite at threat in the opposition area on set pieces. I only caught the second half though, was out golfing, thought it was an 3:00 pm start, my time, 8:00 pm your time. Too bad about JRod's injury, hope it isn't anything too serious.

BTW, who wore captains armband? Obviously wasn't Westwood, he came on as a sub.

Pieters captained the team.

These young lads want to be careful winning these League Cup ties. Their Burnley careers will be pretty short otherwise

All the good news today is overshadowed for me by the potential takeover of the club by a company no-one knows anything about and whose motives are anyone's guess.

I wonder if this injury might help to push the Wilson deal on a bit quicker. We're so down on numbers and Wilson is quite versatile being able to play as a forward or no 10 as well as a wide player.

if you dont know anything about it, you can't really form an opinion on it - positive or negative. I wouldn't worry about something until you know the finer details.

Within a week we could be looking forward to a quarter final League cup tie. Still got half a Jason Tindall tan in honour of tonight's hopeful hero.

Jesus I wouldn't like to be stuck in a lift with you, MG will have the best interest of the club in mind before selling.
