I had an alert on my NHS T & T app that I've been in contact with a confirned case, but there is no instruction.

Anyone know what the procedure is?

Not sure if this applies to your case?

The app is pretty poor. I had a test (negative) but couldn't submit it as the character definition on the app was different to my test Id...

After a bit of research it appears the message I have is a system-generated alert from the provider (Google in this case) as pointed out in Zlatan's attachment - thanks for that.

You don't have to isolate until you receive the official NHS message which advises you to do so. The message I received doesn't mention self isolation.

This could all get very confusing. If it isn't already.

It was mentioned in the link I gave you...

"Some users of the new NHS contact-tracing app have received notifications saying they'd been near someone with coronavirus, only to discover the alerts were system checks sent by Google and Apple."

They seem to be in most pubs around here.
