Re: Wigan Athletic U18s v Burnley U18s
Why's it awful? They are unbeaten in their 3 league games this season and beat Sheff Ut 3 -2 away in their last game.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 3:17 pmThat's awful I thought we were improving at this level

Maybe you should have looked at the team we put out, looked at how Wigan have done at this level now for the past year or so and noticed that they didn't make too many changes to their side.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 3:17 pmThat's awful I thought we were improving at this level
Hard to believe that someone would judge the improvements of an academy by one result when we had a much changed team out.

I imagine that very few who played today took part in the previous rounds.

How many players would we have in the U18s squad?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 3:35 pmMaybe you should have looked at the team we put out, looked at how Wigan have done at this level now for the past year or so and noticed that they didn't make too many changes to their side.

What would be the reason for changes? International call ups? Injuries?

8 first year scholars in the starting 11, and the team was taken by John Townson
