Why's it awful? They are unbeaten in their 3 league games this season and beat Sheff Ut 3 -2 away in their last game.

Maybe you should have looked at the team we put out, looked at how Wigan have done at this level now for the past year or so and noticed that they didn't make too many changes to their side.
Hard to believe that someone would judge the improvements of an academy by one result when we had a much changed team out.

How many players would we have in the U18s squad?
What would be the reason for changes? International call ups? Injuries?

Played younger players today - not just those two missing from what would probably be considered the strongest team.
