Graham Howarth, now there’s a name infamous to Bank Hall (assuming it’s the same bloke)
Edit: I don’t think it is the same Graham.

I think he’s probably the same Dave Whalley who played cricket for Burnley & Lowerhouse.

Dave Whalley was a couple of years above me at Walton High. I remember stopping a thunderbolt of his with my thigh in a lunchtime game. I had a bruise the size of the ball complete with the panel markings. He was a big lad back then.
Ian Laraby I used to play cricket with for Briercliffe.

Gary Hind is an electrician. He’s been doing some wiring in my kitchen today. Still playing apparently.

Gary Hind plays walking football with Colne and also Manchester Corinthians, played against him for Burnley Clarets v Corinthians earlier this year. David Whalley is the son of formerBurnley CC player Neil

Darren Feeney is a distant cousin of mine. Used to go and watch him play for Burnley United at one time. Always thought he was a very good player who with an extra yard of pace and +10% fitness could have done a lot better than that standard. I don't remember the Burnley Bank Hall team. I do recall that Burnley United used to play at Bank Hall, did they ground share?

I didn’t know he was a goalkeeper but just recognised the name and put two and two together. His dad Neil was a hell of a good Lancs League batsman.

He was keeper for the school, the town team, played at county level i think and then fairly sure he was signed on apprentice forms by t'Rovers.

That's correct, he was in the Lancashire Schoolboys under 19 team with myself and another Lowerhouse cricketer, Chris Blezard. Might be wrong but isn't Kevin Norwood the uncle of Oliver Norwood?

He was one of those for a while....
I'm still in touch with him via the book of faces and strangly enough I tend to see him whenever we play at the Etihad....
