I am optimistic.
So am I but I also veer towards realism :)

Watched the Watford game yesterday. To call them defensively naive would be a huge understatement

Attack wise Sarr injured and Dennis off to the ACON

Hope they stick with Ranieri for a bit longer

If we don't overhaul them we don't deserve to stay up.

As things stand Norwich and Watford plus one other - us, Newcastle or Leeds

People keep referencing Brentford but they already have 20 points. Unless any of the current bottom four are going to better a point per game from here on in then a low 30s total is likely to be enough to stay up

Looks like Watford might refuse Dennis international leave.

Didn’t think that was allowed

Apparently something to do with the timing of Nigeria announcing him in the squad:

Apparently they have found a loophole Ranieri was talking about it

Nigeria confident they met all the deadlines. Will be surprised if they don’t let him go though, regardless.

Can you imagine a a manager saying to an England player you aren't going to the Euro's because they sent the email on the wrong day !! Most players would down tools and rightly so

Confirmed. The Athletic. Not going, administrative technicality.

Wow - that’s insane. Wonder how the player feels about that.

Shows how desperate Watford are. Don't think that Dyche would stoop to this sort of thing.

That's rubbish and shows how low Watford will go, I'd take great pleasure in us finishing above them come May.

Massive news for Watford but really poor for the lad. Am I right in thinking that’s his first call up as well?

Not sure but he’d be in with a fair chance of starting too as Napoli’s Victor Osimhen looks likely to withdraw too due to his injury.
