Just worked it out, if you take a free month on Prime just in time for this week's game you miss out on the West Ham game by one day.

Quite glad there is no game New Years Day this time, still felt half hammered at kick off and think some of the players were at the same party.

Amazon Prime 30 day free trial.
Villa KO 1800 17th December
West Ham finish about 1700 16th January.
Isn't that one hour less then 30 days?

Someone started a thread on the Sky Q/Prime link up last night. I spotted it by chance late last night when looking for something else. I don't want to go back to my old TV but this has now allowed me to watch Prime games on my tv rather than sat here in front of my computer.

I don't think it is? 17th - 31st December inclusive is 15 days so the deal would end at midnight on 15th January.

I don't know Amazons Primes exact Terms & Conditions and it's not obvious where to find them without pressing their buttons.
I was assuming it works by the hour. If it works from midnight to midnight then of course it won't work for those two games.

I think if you pay it is calendar monthly but if you are taking the free trial I think it is 30 days which means if you are in for 17th December (Villa) then you miss out on West Ham by one day.

I got 30 days free + 2nd month at £7.99 ... but because I signed up I got a £5 off award

so I ordered some bulbs for the new lights in the kitchen ... free postage and a fiver off makes the 3 games cost £2.99 ...
Don't tell my Brother cos he is paying for the Amazon games

HE has given me £15 so BONUS

I'll have to pay twice. I got my free month recently when I wanted to buy something on Prime Day but I'll make the most of it with a few things I want to watch.

I'd not thought of paying for Prime to be honest. Until yesterday I couldn't even watch it on my TV. But a friend of mine recommended a documentary on the Aussie cricket team that I am now going to watch and then there are the City and Spurs documentaries. Even the Dortmund one but I'll have to get my old coat out for that one.

It's incredible. I live on a cul-de-sac of 21 houses and mine is the first. It's quiet usually apart from the odd farm vehicle passing to go over the cattle grid a few doors down. But these last few months I've never seen as many vans going up and down delivering, from supermarkets, Amazon and all the delivery companies. I'm filling my paper bin every time now with the cardboard.
I've had to get my supermarket shopping done by delivery since March, I've my last one of 2020 this week. If someone clicked their fingers and made the world back to how it should be, I'd be back to the supermarket to do my own shopping but there is no doubt that we will never go back to the lower levels of home delivery.
Which reminds me, I'll get my Tesco order sorted.

I dont want to hijack the thread it's not about comedians, but the funniest guy around at the mo has got to be Kevin Bridges ironically he has a show on Amazon prime which I gleefully subscribe to.

No reason why NOW TV does the same as Prime. I had NOW TV for the Sky games at the end of last season. NOW timed my paid subscription to the hour. I forget the details, let's say I'd signed up at 2pm for a 3pm kick off on 15th June (these dates/times aren't the actual ones) then my 2nd month subscription ended at 2pm on 15th August.
If it is the same for Prime then you may get your 30 days free.
UTC
EDIT: I've got NOW again for this season.

Back on topic, if, by some unimaginable stroke of luck, we are allowed fans on The Turf
before, say, the televised home game vs Villa on 27th Jan at 1800hrs, is there any chance that the KO time
will be changed to a more suitable time ?
Anyone know please ?

I very much doubt the time will be changed now that it’s been given a TV slot
I also very much doubt that we will be in tier 2 by then anyway

The problem is that such a kick off time will presumably affect the number of people joining the ballot to attend.
Always assuming that we have managed to climb out of Tier3 by that stage.

Yes, that's come out today but there were concerns that some weren't going to be shown.
