Lowton 5 consistently relied on Tarks to clean up as he was never on his man.

Mee 5 one of the poorest games I’ve seen him play. Constantly lost challenges and his passing was awful.
Taylor 7 solid. Would like to see him bombing forward again though.
Brady 6 alright. Good in patches but hit the first man too many times.
Westwood 6 alright.
Brownhill 6 some sloppy passing and not as good as against Arsenal but he put himself about.
McNeil 6 started really promising running and beating men but drifted out of the game and was invisible sencond half.
Wood 6 nothing more he can do. No service but a good header was our best effort on goal.
Jay 6 feeding on scraps. Needs service and balls to feet.

Barnes 1 I would give him negative numbers if I could. Embarrassing.

Sixes and sevens will dominate scoring after that. It's a decent point in the scheme of things even if it wasn't great viewing in the second half.

Would have taken a point all day long, but we more than rode our luck all game, Villa opened us up many times with players willing to run with the ball.
Thankfully we got the rub of the green regards the woodwork coming to our rescue.

Amazed we got a point there. That second half performance was absolutely abysmal.
As for our forward line, 12 games in, one striker has scored. Barnes looks a million miles away from this level at the moment and has done now for a good while yet still gets the nod before Vydra.
Let’s hope this takeover moves on because it’s an area we look absolutely woeful in at the moment.

Huge effort by every man Jack.

There was the one occasion when we had a fk. They broke in numbers but by the time they cam to shoot, 5 of our guys all dropped tp block. Fantastic team effort.

Not sure where all the low marks are coming from. Up against it at times, we stuck to our guns, kept another clean sheet away from home and a 6th point of the season on the road.

Some good defence but we were outclassed ,we look as weak as we’ve ever been in the prem

Barnes - 6 Caused far more problems for them than Wood but people seem to think the sun shines out of Woods arse including Dyche
Vydra - 5 Wasn`t really on long enough to make a difference

Good job it wasn`t a boxing match it would have been stopped , at times we looked totally flat footed and our collective ball retention well was poor at best but then we play some good football but not enough. Our tatics are as predictable as the weather, God willing January will bring in some new faces and an overhaul of tatics but I`m not holding my breath.

Little by little confidence will increase and building from the back is the way Burnley and Dyche do this. We do have players who have proved they can score goals in the Premier League but it may just take one of those games where a few things click and we put 3 or 4 past someone to get things rolling. In the meantime after a shocking start to the season I am satisfied with an away point and clean sheet in the Premier League. I will take that in every away game to be honest. 4 points in the bag and 0 goals conceded from what appeared to be 2 tough away games. Happy boy me tonight.

We’re going through a lean spell in front of goal at the minute, I think we’ll turn that around. But in the mean time if we keep a clean sheet we’ll at least come away with a point. And that’s what we’ve done, with a well organised defensive display. It’s no accident that we pick up points in this manner, it’s all down to SD his coaching staff and the players

Pope made save after save. Some of the easy, others really fine saves. Anyone who gives him 7 or less really knows zilch about football.
