People complain about Bt and Amazon. God knows how. Literally every other cut is filming the Leeds manager and not the game!

Sky are usually so much better but that was awful.
Sky coverage of the game

by Woodleyclaret
The director kept focusing on Leeds manager and doing reruns so missing large chunks of play
I personally am not interested in seeing any manager during live coverage
Today got embarrassingly incompetent with the time the cameras panned on the Leeds manager
I know the guy walks on water and has perfumed farts but this Sky lovein with him is nauseating
Also why do we have to be shown the teams of a team coming up in the next match .?

And why is their manager always sitting on his haunches?

He cut to the keeper so often I started to think it was his son.

My uncle said it was like watching acorn antiques.
I thought it had more the air of an early Quentin Tarantino film.

Even so, you're paying by being a 'viewer'. You could switch off and view the game on a stream instead.

Too many close ups missing a lot of play.

Do streams not use the same cameras? Just different commentators? I’ve not a clue by the way

The stream can be a copy of Sky in the UK or the world feed.
Usually the UK has different commentators, but not always. The cameras/replays are shared by whoever does it in the UK.
The world feed today had Jonathan Beck and Stephen Warnock commentating. Pre, Half time and Full time Analysis is local to where you live. In the US that was Robbie Earle and Danny Higginbotham today, but they are not biased like UK coverage.
Instead of paying for Sky you can pay for a VPN and sign up to DAZN Canada and watch via a stream for much less money.

The Sky commentator nailed his colours to the mast early on. He started the game by saying (something like) “we have a contest between an exciting Leeds attack” (definitely heard the second bit) “against a DUBIOUS Burnley defensive game”.
Outrageous, then continued to snipe at the Clarets for the rest of the game.

They have 4 games live today and this must have been their lowest ranked game with least experienced crew.
Commentary was sub standard with som bizarre comments. Misidentified players a lot.
Overall not a good show and certainly a poor performance by officials.

Looked like same director of that programme Andrew Lincoln started off in - 'This Life'.

We often get Sky’s D-List, but today wasn’t even that good. God knows what work experience kid they had in the production studio as they missed showing half of the game by showing totally irrelevant camera angles.

Have Leeds got all the camera work done that is needed when in the Premier league?
We had to spend a lot of money on ground improvements for the cameras upon promotion.
They didn't have a full summer to do any improvements though.

I jacked Sky in a couple of years ago when I was paying £36 for basically Sky 1 and Sky Atlantic (only channels different to Freeview) plus pause/rewind.
They have been great innovators tech wise, but shot themselves in foot with Now TV, or maybe they're happy with that model ?

If they're showing action replays when Burnley are taking a corner, or showing a close-up of Bamford having a shot and not showing where the ball goes, that's not a fault of camera location.
