What's causing this? Any idea?

sweat, wetness, or moisture.
heat and humidity.
walking, running, or cycling.
exercise.
crossing your legs while sitting.
having large thigh muscles.
being overweight.
wearing skirts or dresses, thin leggings, or tight clothing like underwear.

I'm a old, big chap and used to chafe a lot whilst playing walking football but that has stopped since I started using Under Armour compression shirts and compression long-fitting under shorts

I’ve been running 2 to 3 times a week for a couple of years, and used to suffer chafing, not anymore tho after buying a couple of pairs of 2 in 1 running shorts! I can highly recommend them don’t get chafing anymore

Snap. And its weird you saying this as i get it a lot when hot

Did 10k Monday
Attempted it again Tues and could only do half. And it was freezing. Never had chaffing in cold weather b4 and very sore

Sudocrem doesnt work
Talc doesnt either

Best thing to rub on is daktarin cream. Uaually for athletes foot. Gets rid if it overnight (pain/sores)

PPP, I’ve suffered quite a lot with chafing but have never had any issues since I started using ‘DermaGuard Moisturising Barrier Hand Cream’. You can buy it online from Lakeland.
Give it a go it’s certainly sorted me out.

I love a run .... have suffered chafing and nipple bleeding on a longer run
For me it’s all about the gear you wear.
I love under armour jocks and long sleeved vest. It clings to everything so there ain’t nothing to chafe.
That’s my ten pence worth.

Seriously a decent lube can help. Though I'd avoid taking it out with you, as that's a little weird. I know that it does work.

I can recommend Runderwear designed specifically for this problem - they’re not cheap but definitely worth it...I just bought one pair and wash regularly. I only usually get chafing when I run 10+ miles but I did the Yorkshire Three Peaks (24 miles) last year with these on and had no issues at all. Saves all the faffing with cream and oils etc.

My mate had this and got some chaffing shorts with like a legging inner made from special material and then the shorts woven in over the top and they fixed it straight away. Google it mate.

Chamois cream is the best product to stop any chafing, I use it as a cyclist and wished I’d known about it when I ran regularly.

What's exercise?

However, I do get chafing whilst sat on the sofa.
It's very painful when I reach for the chocolates.
