Saw his interview yesterday after the game v Derby.
Comes across very well and was very fair in his comments. Doing a good job I would say

I always though my he came across as an arrogant two hat.

That could be a very unfair assessment, particularly as its based solely from his time with us and I don’t recall ever hearing the bloke speak.

Similarly, I have semi regular contact with SD and also find him difficult to warm to. I believe a lot of the staff at the club feel the same. That said, he’s never rude or offensive, he just doesn’t go out of his way to be friendly day to day

Just never exchanges pleasantries which doesn't cost anything

Careful, you’re not allowed to criticize SD on here...

As Eddie has been mentioned. I see he is linked with the Celtic job. Bloody long way from Bournemouth.

Interesting - I’d have assumed that to be one of the minimum expected requirements from someone who places so much on core values.

For all the assumptions that he’s an arrogant southerner etc etc, I always found Tindall to be a real down to earth and friendly bloke. He came across as quite shy and uncomfortable on occasion, rather than full of himself. Certainly far more pleasant to talk to than come of the current staff.

Pleased that he’s doing okay on his own now. I was intrigued when he got the top job as I just couldn’t imagine him doing it from what I saw of him 10 years ago. Fair play to him.

I'm not convinced by one or two descriptions of Sean Dyche.
A few years ago I'd suffered a broken femur and still using crutches, my lad and myself were coming out of the club shop and Sean Dyche was walking towards us.
He stopped to ask what I'd been up to and we chatted for a few minutes and he was then more than happy to pose for selfies.

Maybe when you bumped into him he was in public, and not in his workplace at gawthorpe? It was the first time I met him and my first impression of the man

He doesn't suffer fools, certainly not in the work environment, and certainly not outsiders in the work environment.
Meet him away from that environment you'll find him friendly and willing to spend time talking to fans.

Totally agree with that veiw as in my time at the club, I found JT to be the opposite of arrogant more shy and timid but aways polite & friendly as was EH to be fair.
Also couldn't see JT being the man in control but seems to coping fine.

I'm not the greatest to know in my work environment and Dyche works in a more pressure cooker environment than me.
Outside of work I'm the loveliest person I've ever met. 8-)

Yes he's been heavily linked in the Scottish media, personally if I was him I'd steer well clear of Celtic ATM, they have a major rebuilding job on their hands, and TBH I can't see EH liking life in the goldfish bowl that is Old Firm management, plus Gerrard has got Rangers motoring this year, and they are dominating the Scottish game again, even if Eddie closed the gap next year it wouldn't be enough for the Celtic support, Neil Lennon is copping brickbats left, right and centre, and he's got an historical link to the club, and has also enjoyed loads of success with them, imagine the dogs abuse Howe would receive if results don't go well in his early days.

I'd not yet renewed by season ticket for 2015-16, and received a call from the boss.

Granted, he was on duty and required to be nice to butter us up.

Had a lovely chat, spent time discussing family, living away from home, missing cooking, wife, kids, he was friendly, interested and had no need to spend a long time with me after I opened with I am renewing. So I formed the opinion is he is a pleasant bloke, and the negative vibes stem from frankness and yes, his gruff voice.

Nah, it’s a decent gig I reckon. Reappointment of Lennon was a dreadful mistake and the brickbats are of his own making in the main. Squad itself is still very good and you’ve got a good chance of trophies and European football. Look at how it helped Rodgers in particular, who’d left a much bigger club. A lot of the noise is just that.

Shocking that Dyche while in his place of work didn't make a fuss and maybe ruffle the hair of some irrelevant person who happened to be stood somewhere near him.

I sent Eddie a copy of Jimmy Hogans story
He wrote back and said he'd read it in the close season
He obviously has given it to Jason, as his team have adopted a lot of the pass and move tactics with fast wide players as mentioned by Jimmy Hogan as a recipe for success.

He'll be under pressure following tonight's poor display and result, possibly the 1st time he's been under scrutiny at the helm of Bournemouth, now we'll see what he's made of, this will either make him or break him.
