I did put the kiss of death on Stephens by thinking " what a great game he has has" just before he slipped in a sloppy one. But by and large him and Bards were just old pros showing what they do.

Vydra 7 - His movement is prem quality, finishing is championship unfortunately. You can see if he’s like that in training why he doesn’t get selected. He has to take the opportunities to be given a sniff.

High marks, but that's because they can only play against what is in front of them and we have to judge them on that. Fulham were very poor and we took full advantage and dominated from first kick to last and that allowed our players to really shine. BPF had very little to do, but he made 2 crucial saves which could have turned the game, so well done to him!

Have to agree totally with Stephens who I thought was outstanding in the midfield while Long did his job expertly after a couple of early concerns.

BPF - 8 Calm and assured and made a couple of excellent saves
Bardo - 8 Really good game and like a kid in a candy shop with the sliding tackles!
Tarky - 8 Excellent performance
Long - 8 Really impressed. Comes in out of the cold and always puts a great shift in
Pieters - 7 Steady away but still not quite got the partnership with D Mac like Taylor does
JBG - 7 Needed that 90 minutes. Pleasing performance
Cork - 8 Got to say he looked fit and I think he should be partnering Westy on Wednesday night
Stephens - 6 Just doesn’t light my fire. Quite a few misplaced passes but I can accept the pitch was a factor
McNeil - 7 Getting back towards his best.
J Rod - 9 Led the line brilliantly and fully deserved his brace
Vydra - 8 Even though he should have scored I think he deserves a high mark for the effort and getting in the dangerous positions his movement and pace can bring. Does need his goal though

Pretty much a precession from the time J Rod got the 1st goal. Let’s hope we take that confidence into the next game even though I know the team will revert back.

Bardsley: (8) Consumate professional- give him another contract; like Grezza he can still do it and is a very useful squad member.

Long: (8) His best ever game for us? Amazing to see the standard he played at bearing in mind his lack of competitive action.

Stephens: (8) Partnered Cork well. Seemed to be everywhere (like Cork).
McNeil: (9) Genius. Sublime. Enthralling. How many superlatives can we come up with for him? Surely the big boys are going to pounce for him soon...
Vydra: (8) Oh how good it was to see a striker with pace running at the opposition and carving them open at times. Just needs a goal from somewhere to kickstart him again- will he get the time though from here?
Rodriguez: (9+ MoM) What a performance! Hopefully he starts the next game and carries this form on.

All round- an excellent performance. We should perhaps have scored more but the effect this will have had on Fulham shouldn’t be overlooked. They will not be looking forward to playing us again and this could be worth it’s (psychological) weight in gold

When you consider only 2 possibly 3 of that 11 have been regular starters that's a big performance against fellow PL strugglers who made similar selection choices

Testament to the fitness, preparation and application of the whole squad and very encouraging for the remainder of the season

Vydra 8 excellent despite the misses today he gets in great positions. Look at the penalty and 3rd goal and a super first half.

We looked comfortable and could have been 2 or 3 up at half time.

I do not think Stephens is the kind of player many will take to, but today’s performance shows he does the defensive work of a midfielder very well. He regularly broke up play and allowed Cork chance to play a little further forward and grab the headlines. Excellent performance.
