My mum is in her 70s, uses a mobile and doesn't have a phone line - just Virgin fibre broadband. I convinced her to dump her landline. However, she sometimes leaves her mobile in places other than her home ! Im just wondering if there is a very simple phone that can plug into a broadband router and just be used like a landline phone without any complicated configuration or subscription to VOIP services. I expect there is. Ive seen a few candidates but just not sure how easy it would be for my mum to configure and use - I live miles away.
