Moving players in and out at U23 level seems a doddle for the club....First Team not so good...

Wasn't he captain of the U18s last season?

I'm slightly surprised by this tbh as I believed from reports I read that Conn-Clarke was pretty good and at one time he seemed to score quite a lot. Having said that, we have been bringing in lads for the U23s (and U18s) almost constantly for months and surely there isn't going to be room for all of them and they aren't all going to get game time.

I must admit to being surprised based on everything I've read about him but there you go.

Yes, captain last season.

Moved up to the u23s but wasn't getting much game time. Went on loan to Chorley but don't think he played so often. Wasn't expecting it yesterday but thinking about it, best for the lad if he's not going to get games for us.

Was there a fee involved, CT?

I wouldn't have thought so and if there was it would be minimal
