Tonight's footy 2/2/21
Wins for Sheff Utd, Arsenal & Palace would be welcome.
Stanley at home to Bristol Rovers, and I wonder if any of our loanees will feature tonight.
Cheltenham-Barrow has fallen victim to the COVID I'm guessing, so no showdown between Duff & Jolley just yet.

Re: Tonight's footy 2/2/21
Precisely that's why we want them to win, even a win for the Blades will only take them to 11 points, and they'll still be 11 points shy of us, whereas a Baggies win, and they'll only be 7 points shy of us, and they'll feel they have hope.

Think I’d rather a draw. Only 2 points from 3 dished out then.

It can turn quickly can't it. Makes the west brom at home and Fulham at home game massive. Kinda wish we had played the Fulham game and put that breathing space between usStalbansclaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 6:57 pmA week ago I was feeling confident we would stay up but since then everything seems to have gone the wrong way

As much as I hate Luiz that was a dreadful decision for me unless I’m blind

Don't come on here tomorrow evening then.....Stalbansclaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 6:57 pmA week ago I was feeling confident we would stay up but since then everything seems to have gone the wrong way
Re: Tonight's footy 2/2/21
A draw would be best for us as we don't
want either team getting 3 points and getting some momentum.
Certainly not West Brom winning
.
Wolves losing would also be good.
Don't expect any points from our game with City
tomorrow night but we'd still have a game in hand.

Re: Tonight's footy 2/2/21
Yes we always seem to be near the top of the FairPlay league, but yet we are still perceived as a dirty side!

Re: Tonight's footy 2/2/21
We could certainly take major steps to safety, and the most important thing is it's still very much in our own hands, I'd still rather be in our place, than one of the bottom 3, and we have home games against Brighton, Fulham, West Brom, Newcastle & Leeds, even say 3 wins and a draw from those fixtures alone would put us within touching distance of safety, and that doesn't even take into account the rest of the games we still have to play.
That Sheff Utd equaliser will certainly help as well, 1-1 would be fine for us.

Meanwhile, Accrington's League One match against Bristol Rovers has been pushed back to a 19:30 kick-off after passing two pitch inspections.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 7:22 pmAnybody know why Stanley haven’t kicked off yet?

I notice there's a few games off tonight, guess the weather is bleak down there.

Re: Tonight's footy 2/2/21
Bogle has looked decent whenever i've seen Sheff U this season. What did they end up paying for him?
Re: Tonight's footy 2/2/21
They look a defensive shambles,
