Just as with Sunday our narrow back 4 against wide wide men is ridiculous. It will never work and that’s why Chelsea and these hammer us so regularly.
I understand SD doesn’t want to change his system for one of games but this will just keep on happening.

There's no way ANY keeper could or would have tried to catch that,it cannoned into him ,he "reflexed" it off his hands,no way was that a keeper error . Pope did the only thing he could.

I’m not suggesting that Pope couldn’t have done better. I do think that it came at him very quickly from close range, making it very difficult to have much control in where the ball was going.

If Lowton had put in a proper challenge, the save wouldn’t have been necessary.

Can someone tell me what Pieters offers? Constantly 2/3 yrds deeper than the other defenders and then when he gets forward and no pressure on him to deliver a decent cross....passes straight to the defenders. Sooner Taylor gets back the more solid at the back we’ll be. Shocking.
