It's one thing to not create a chance against Man City / Chelsea. Quite a different thing vs an average Championship side. Lowest marks I've ever given but cannot give anything more than that.

Bardsley 4 - failed to find a claret shirt all night. As a senior we needed more
Long 4 - slower than a slow worm on pot. A disaster waiting to happen at the back.
Dunne 6 - did alright but not helping Glennon enough 1st half
Glennon 5 - used ball well but struggled a bit defensively. Needed more support
Gudmundsson 3 - back to the ineffective stationary backward facing version
Benson 5 - better 2nd half
Stephens 6 - worked hard
McNeil - 6 drifted out after a good start to both halves
Vydra 5 - usual busy but ultimately ineffective display
Rodriguez 3 - woeful - offered nothing

Westwood 6 - added zip for 5 mins but soon picked up the tempo from the rest of the shower

We created zilch in the way of playing any sort of football and caused their 40 year old goalkeeper no problems

I've seen us play badly over the years, but that tonight was truly unacceptable. They are lucky fans couldn't get in as the atmosphere would have been toxic. Why don't Burnley FC just write to the FA at the beginning of each season and say that Sean doesn't want to do cup games, so can we be excluded!!!

Peacock- Farrell 6 - one decent save otherwise not a great deal to do.
Bardsley 5 - need more from him.
Long 4 - really struggled with Surridge's movement off his shoulder and very poor for the penalty.
Dunne 6 - I'd like to see him given a chance alongside one of our better centre halves.
Glennon 5 - caught a little narrow in the first half I thought but some decent touches on the ball.
Gudmundson 5 - offered very little today.
Stephens 3 - very poor indeed and lucky not to give a penalty away or concede an own goal...
Benson 4 - showed glimpses but would have liked him to show a bit more intent with his passing. Struggled against their 3.
McNeil4 - tried too much too often rather than keeping it simple and should have done far better at the far post a couple.of times inn the first half.
Rodriguez 3 - really, really struggling at the moment. Not quite sure how he missed that chance.
Vydra 4 - poor.

As pathetic a performance as I can remember, and God knows we've had some rubbish lately.
I don't care about injuries, there was no excuse for that non performance.
The fans are obviously sick, angry, mystified, but the players looked like they couldn't give a toss.

An absolute horror show. We lost before we kicked off which is just pathetic. I expected an Accrington/Lincoln esque performance when I saw the line up. This was far worse than the Lincon performance.

Second string shown to be downright poor again. Special mentions for: Glennon to me looks really good in the opposition half and should seriously consider becoming a winger because defensively he was woeful. I know he's only a kid, but I have to call what I see. Jayrod was utterly dreadful (again). Long is clearly not good enough and never has been so what on earth was the point in the contract extension? Stephens, mmmmm! Words fail me. Benson is very willing and very tidy, but no more. If the returning first choice players don't put a show on come Saturday, then tonight really will have been even worse than it first seems.
