He’s a decent player who fits our style perfectly. We’ve been linked with him and he’s running down his contract, isn’t he? His attitude though, apparently hasn’t been too great this season.

Presuming they get relegated we might go in for Bogle too at RB.
Depends how much they need to sell when/if they go down.

Hahaha. That's hilarious- what a set of whiny gets. Serves em right for supporting that lot.

Sander Berge was our key target in the previous January window.

The January window just gone? Or the one before?
The same Sander Berge that cost £20m+?
I was listening to the Guardian Weekly Podcast not so long back, and they had a Sheff Utd fan on. He was saying a real problem this season, apart from O’Connell being out, was trying to shoehorn Berge into the team.
Very cultured, clearly head and shoulders techinicly above the rest of the team, but didn’t bring the intensity that they had last season and still needed.
Would be an unbelievable signing, but I doubt he would come, and I doubt we could afford him.

Big fee - but I believe he's on circa £40K per week - so within our wage structure.

If hes really a target we need to be nailing down this deal.Hes free to talk to other teams and imo he'd make a good investment
Hes a tough tackler with decent distribution and an eye for a goal

As a resident of Sheffield, I confidently predicted to Blades fans that there would be elements turning on the team as soon as things went a bit "sticky", shall we say. Ridiculous, really, although most are happy with the manager. A bit like us, I suppose....?

The manager accepts he is running down his contract and continues to pick him
I would assume from that Wilder has no problems with his attitude and has said so
Had we been interested I would have thought we might have made a move in Jan

Reminds me of Scotty Arfield in his early days with us. I think if SD likes him I would be happy to welcome him. Gives us more energy than some of our starting 11 and would be a great squad addition

Ignoring him for selection isn’t optional, there need everybody firing on all cylinders especially if there’s the slightest chance of climbing up the table to safety.

I found it very difficult reading this one about Lundstram with a straight face:
‘ If it was revealed that he is some sort of sleeper cell for all the other Prem teams I’d not be one bit surprised’

I seem to remember James Tarkowski was reported as having a bad attitude, as he was nearing the end at Brentford.

Me too, Elizabeth, but not for your reasons. There is no place on any message board for the sort of language used there and I'm thankful that our board members are much better behaved; - and that the Mods run a tighter ship.

I’m glad this board doesn’t allow swearing reading that. Interesting take though, that Lundstrum has been living off an all too brief purple patch early last season, and the outside world don’t seem to have noticed. My Blades supporting friends loved Norwood too, but he also seems to have been caught in the malaise.
It’s a shame how vitriolic their fan base has become but it can’t have been fun watching such a dramatic demise at close quarters. We got slaughtered there last year and it was a thoroughly depressing afternoon on a day we didn’t send our best. I wonder if we’ll be back in football stadiums in time for the end of the season, it will be a very different place by May 23.

Personally I Like the language used on sites like the Sheffield one. Just people from “all” walks of life expressing them selves in the way they know how.
I suppose there site reminds me of standing in the old longside, this site is rather like sitting in the middle of the bob lord stand.
Both good places to be, just different.
