A little surprised JBG is out. When he walked of down the tunnel he wans't limping at all.
Anyone know what his injury is?

Then let’s go 4-3-3
Lowton——Tarks——Mee——Taylor
—Brownhill—Westwood—Cork
Rodriguez———Barnes———McNeil
There, problem solved!

Hes made of glass...could be anything

That will still leave us with a very strong line up.Our first choice back five. Three of our four first choice midfielders and with our inconsistent strikers this season if we have Vyds available, only weakened only by an inconsistent wood.
So we will only be missing JBG from our strongest team in my view and the blessing that Brady is injured, but obviously a weak bench.

We will lack width on one side though...I dont really see Brownhill as effective out there. Only answer might be to push Lowton forward and play Bardsley behind him but too radical to experiment like that I think.
JBG held his hamstring before he sat down last night so must have been yet another "tweak"

Of course it could be 'Anything'. That's why I asked the question, to try and establish what it was.
One thing is for sure, he's ten times better than Brady, and he's been proving it in the last few matches.
I hope he's back very soon.

I think Dyche might go with 4-4-2 !!

Picks itself
Pope
Lowton Tarky Mee Taylor
Brownhill Cork Westwood McNeil
Rodriguez Barnes
Be good if Vydra is back to give an option off the bench - sorely lacked that against Fulham.

It's time to confess. Are you Statler or Waldorf?

No chance of me ever seeing a GP or Consultant again, I'll just post on here for an expert medical diagnosis
Looks like we will be able to field a decent starting XI with a thin bench. Let's hope West Brom are as accommodating as we would like them to be.

I would say there is more chance of pigs flying than us changing formation this season.

Mee & Vydra back are big pluses as was Taylor coming through the game with no affects.
It's losing the wingers that adds to the frustration of not bringing a wide player in during the summer & January transfer windows, Brady & Gudmundsson were always likely to struggle staying injury free throughout the season.

Cant see him putting Vydra straight back in, even though he was MOM against Brighton,, and will be the freshest.
Presume itll be more long ball and falling over tactics.
Hopefully we manage to break down the worst team in the league this time or they make a mistake
"Right side of the margins" in Dyche speak.
The Allerdyche game is certain to be last on MOTD

Biggest problem we have is Fatigue. Even Tarks looked shattered last night. West Brom will be very physical and that combined with our fatigue levels will make it a tough game. A win however will put us in a great position Fulham have a tough run in as follows
Sheff U h
Palace a
Liverpool a
Man C h
Leeds h
Villa a
Wolves h
Arsenal a
Chelsea a
Burnley h
Saints a
Man U a
Newcastle h
They certainly need 6 points from their next 2 games. Very tough after that

I just hope the lads can get some rest in the few days they have. Saturday is another big game and SA wil have them fired up, add to that they've also had a full weeks rest.

Hamstring and Dyche indicated after the game that it was suspected to be more serious than initially thought.

Thanks for that. I've had two responses that weren't very helpful previously.
Strange one though. As he walked off, he wasn't limping at all.

That makes sense to me. Vyds was brilliant against Brighton and doesn't deserve to be continually left out.

It did look like that and the initial prognosis was a tight hamstring, however it appears more serious than first thought. JBG and Brady going for scans tomorrow, Brady for his ankle.

What's the probelm with wood and Stephens, who has hardly played.
Whilst we do look a bit nackered at times the same should go for the opposition. They play as many games.

I know, they seem to be all in hiding. Cracking job these days, getting paid for not seeing patients.

A win on Saturday against West Brom should
be enough to make us feel relatively confident about staying up.
It will be tough no doubt but hopefully we'll have enough
to see them off.

While I agree with your general point , West Brom will have the edge over us though this weekend as they didn’t play mid week.
Hopefully that will not be the deciding factor and this is one game going behind first is not what we want to happen
