Watford v Derby
Watford 2-0 ahead
Watching with no sound as the commentator is Gary Weaver assisted by Andy Hinchcliffe and they never stop talking.
The worst pair on TV

Re: Watford v Derby
Hinchcliffe has the amazing ability to repeat what has just happened, after watching it back on the replay! Hopeless pundit. He also jumps to conclusions that something is a foul way too quickly which makes him look stupid when the replay clearly shows it isn't. But he never admits his mistake.

Jim Beglin and Andy Townsend don’t usually add too much insight.

How dire are Derby they've yet to muster an effort on target, and to think some people want us to go back to the hellhole of the Championship.

I like Hinchcliffe but he’s an old time pro. If you shot somebody on the halfway line he’d call it 50/50.

I just wonder who on earth ever thought Hinchcliffe was a good co-commentator.welsbyswife wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 8:18 pmHinchcliffe has the amazing ability to repeat what has just happened, after watching it back on the replay! Hinchcliffe is bad but I have watched Accy's last two games on ifollow where they link home commentary from the radio.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 8:57 pmI just wonder who on earth ever thought Hinchcliffe was a good co-commentator.
Against Donny our ex player Tom Anderson was co commentator but nobody told him he was there to explain what was happening in the game to listeners/viewers.
He was like a fan, go on lad pass it wide. Great ball, foul him foul him. Just basically telling his team mates who couldn't hear him what to do for 90 minutes.
Against Lincoln the radio link went funny and loud dance music was played instead.

I can’t imagine Tom doing commentary. At least you had a Burnley accent.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 9:14 pmHinchcliffe is bad but I have watched Accy's last two games on ifollow where they link home commentary from the radio.

Yes! but we're not plying our trade in the Championship are we, and that is quite a subtle difference I'm sure you'll agree.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 9:46 pmGoing off the strike rate of our on fire frontmen, that’s quite amusing.

Whilst I now what you mean, I’ve loved many a season in the Championship. But yes, I’d prefer to be in the big league....
