At times hoping Burnley lose is a valid desire if the aim in that is to shake something up and lead to more wins in the future.

Personally, I wasn’t in that place today, it was total dross, but recent performances have been good so this was a one-off hopefully.

But we have all seen sides, including ours, where results have been in a rut and the board never pull the trigger quick enough (and the opposite to be fair when they pull it too soon). Then you get sides like Charlton who may have hoped their team lost in recent seasons under their unpopular owner to try to get him to sell up. So we should never be naive enough to think it is never something to hope for in our team, but as I say, that didn’t apply to us today.

A one off? We are awful most weeks, how many goals have we scored this season? How many shots on target? our top scorer has less goals this season than Kurt Zouma and the same number of goals as Lewis Dunk, Jan Vestegaard and Michael Keane. We are sh!te and lucky this league is dreadful this year.
You call us week in week out. I can guarantee one thing is that you wouldn't follow us if we were playing lower league getting beat 4-3 every week

Look at the positives our clean sheets, I bet your mother couldn't say the same about yours

Did I mention your family member?

Do you think I would follow Burnley if it was a choice? It simply isn't a choice, I was born here.

Boing boing
Let’s revisit this thread and particular game at the end of the season. You make fun, but a Fulham win tonight and it only needs a poor run now and we are right back in it. Certainly playing like that we don’t have a hope of winning games.

Even one of our own players has called out the lack of effort tonight.

Who? I don't think there was really a lack of effort tbh, we are just sh!te with the ball and have been for 5+ years.

I too was hoping for a West brom winner so we'd get exactly what we deserved .... nothing
Hoping we would lose?!?

Your outbursts tonight on various threads have kept a lot of us amused. 😁

I've heard it all now.
