Here we go. Time we revenge their steak at Turf Moor.

Need to be fully on it today, as we will be.

Let's do it.

Come on you Clarets

Wood on the bench. Still no Brady, JBG or Pieters.

Interestingly Richardson makes the bench. Very highly thought of in the youth set up

Won't be long before Mellon jnr will be similarly thought of if he continues to develop 🙂

Just praying we play it on the floor rather than hoofing it to Vyds and Jay. Play to their strengths we did at Fulham in the cup

Team almost picks itself, I hope Jay is better for the week off, he hasn't looked anything like himself lately.
Vyds and Jay need the service mind, so I hope we try and play more forward thinking, when we can, rather than totally retreat to our own half and hand them the initiative.

Sugar soaping done. Polyfilla a few nail holes in the plaster tomorrow. Then start on painting the walls later in the week. I'm doing some decorating, first time in more than 2 decades - but it's only a small room. Amazing what you can get done on a match day, when you can't attend the game.

Time for a shower then settle down to watch the game with bacon rolls.

Someone told me excluding the sides that came up we have beaten every PL side away except Newcastle and Spurs.
If that’s so let’s change history again today!

Lets hope if he gets a chance and it doesn't go to plan then he doesn't get the appalling abuse Joel Mumbongo as had do put up with.

Don’t think we can play the’backs to the wall’ game plan without Barnes and Wood. Hope I’m wrong

There has been much debate on here as to whether Mumbongo would at some point be up to Premiership standard.
It would improve fans confidence if one of our younger players could demonstrate that promise. I've not seen very much from the recent outfield player performances to date.

I honestly don't think Mumbongo got abuse. Yes, some people said they didn't think he looked up to it on what they saw and others said it's early days, he's had very little exposure/game time and they'd reserve judgement. Differing opinions and a debate, but I didn't see any "abuse" tbh.

Where was this abuse? On here I only saw people passing a personal opinion on his ability and potential, everyone is entitled to an opinion whether it is right or wrong.

If you saw actual abuse anywhere then I agree that is appalling and not needed or deserved.

Out of interest if Richardson was to come on today and score where would he rank in our youngest ever scorers? Not that I expect him to come on.

Take a pinch of both their arguments and we’d be somewhere nearer the truth, I reckon.

Proper schoolboy stuff though, especially Redknapp, didn’t half let Keane get to him.

Keane and Redknapp great entertainment. Pundits normal start the disagreements after the game. Some colourful language from Roy too.

My first bet for 48 years is riding on this. Burnley to win at 6/1 with Betfair according to my mate who's put a tenner on for me.

Shame Barnes ain't fit. I'd have preferred him and Vyds together. Only one winger again, as well. McNeil will need a smile on his face.

You could've got 7/1. It's a shame we don't win when Vydra starts though.

that is the issue. the people who abuse others are usually blind to their actions and the abuser needs to be right and in control.
