I don’t think Dave is coming back as CEO despite any rumours which I hadn’t seen. I suspect we won’t replace Hart and Pace will probably take it on.

In some ways, I hope he does - will get to know the club much better by being involved in the day to day running. Also saves a salary, given we have a new board all presumably wanting to be paid.

Only downside I can see is that it will inevitably consume a lot of time/effort that may hinder/slow him from implementing his vision for the club.

They've got a team of five though from America so I don't see anything getting hindered. Alan Pace has taken on Hart's role temporarily but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a permanent role although I understand he has had discussions with Dave Baldwin but not necessarily about him returning.

It was Lee Hoos with the Krispy Kremes. Why would he speak to Dave? He will have a lot of knowledge of the club given he was here from November 2014 to March 2020. I would think it could be worthwhile talking to him.

I was only jesting, but I did think you’d said there were Krispy Kremes at future meetings once Dave had realised you were so easily bought? Or I may just have imagined that

I think you’re probably right and it’d make sense to me, but if AP is planning to take the role permanently though, why would they announce they’re seeking a successor? Surely an “stepping in while we evaluate options” message might’ve been more appropriate in that circumstance?
