A good second half display

Pope 5 - poor for the goal and not a great deal to do otherwise strangely.
Lowton 6 - not at the level he has been recently, but ok
Tarks 6 - badly at fault on that first goal, questionable decision making on our last 2 goals conceded. Played solid otherwise though and some nice passing but cant mark any higher after deserting his post.
Mee 7* - very solid today and some great blocks.
Taylor 7 - thought he was becoming a real.outlet I'm the game but looks like Sean wanted to protect him.
Gudmunson 6 -tidy enough on the ball but not really involved.
Brownhill 6 - worked hard throughout but showed a lack of quality at times again unfortunately.
Westwood 6 - decent game overall but some erratic passing. Dont think the surface helped.
McNeil 7 - his work ethic towards the end of the game was phenomenal. Thought he slowed us down a little too much in the first half but looked dangerous in the second.
Vydra 7 - how work rate was unbelievable the pen would have been soft but Saka went to play the ball and missed it and caught Vydras foot. Thought he should have stayed on as he was getting us up the pitch..
Wood 7 - played well again but again just that final touch deserted him (other than the goal). Could have won it for us but lovely link up play.

Pieter 6 - great effort and think he would have been unlucky with the pen - he was jostling side to side and not sure where else he could put his arm.
Brady 5 - quiet when he came on.

A point gained, either side could have won it.
Vydra and Wood are getting better and linking up very well, great move Wood should have scored.

A few off it today but looking more like Burnley of old.

Just a sprinkling of quality needed in that final 3rd, crossing and final decision is often poor.
Hitting the first man the amount if times we do is criminal.

Safe to say we will be playing in this league again next season.

Poor first 39 minutes then played very well for the remainder. This passing football is so much better to watch. Long may it continue.

Westwood inconsistent

Somehow nervous performance today. No one wanted to hold the ball. A draw was a fair result.

Another game where we'll happily take the point. Played pretty well in patches, especially second half, but they were always a threat and stretched us defensively and we could so easily have lost it. I really, really wish we'd put some better crosses in from decent positions as it's playing to our strengths, but today (and so often this season) our crossing was utterly woeful!

Arguably the best I’ve seen him for us, in the right game he’s exactly what we’ve missed but I agree with those that argue he’s not always the answer, deserves a decent run now with a decent striker chomping at his feet on the bench
