Sunley, I’d forgotten his name but not the “tackle”. How he stayed on I’ll never know.

My friend a well known Burnley fan, who lives in Cape Town had a round of golf last December with John Sissons, who he described as a great bloke. Telling me, they had a great chat, when he found out he is a Burnley fan. Telling stories about Moore, Hurst and Peters, but also reminding him, he was in the side that knocked us out of the Cup, when WHU won it. Having seen a photo of the 2 of them together, Sissons looks very well for someone aged 75.

There's a couple of old buggers in that Burnley team who are still looking very well.

I was still in London and went with my Villa supporting mate to the game at Loftus Rd. Villa were awful and got away with a 1-0 defeat but then I found out our score and two fed up fans of different clubs made their way back to Twickenham.
