What you’ve got to realise is some posters, always need to single a player out, and find a negative!
Gordaleman has a huge problem. Wood, who is usually the victim of his nonsensical negativity and vitriol, has come back and played well so he’s found himself another target with some pathetic comments.

Pope 7
Lowton 8
Tarkowski 8
Mee 9
Pieters 8
Gudmundsson 8
Brownhill 8
Westwood 8
McNeil 9
Wood 9
Vydra 8

Brady 7

Very enjoyable. First half is as good as I’ve seen us, and second half epitomised what we do best - never once felt seriously threatened.

May I suggest those who call for Dyche out when we draw at home to the likes of West Brom keep things in perspective next time. Much like with the Leicester, Man Utd, Arsenal fixtures last season when we seemed in trouble and got 7 points, we’ve come away from Leicester, Arsenal, Everton with 5 points. Do not doubt Dyche.

Some of Brownhill’s free kicks have gone into the top tier but he does not get the criticism RB gets

I’ll tell you what’s pathetic, your comments about Brady. Ego? Forced him to try? Yes, pathetic comments.

And for what it’s worth, he did really well when he came on, worked his socks off and did some great defensive work.
As usual, you are entitled to your opinion, as I am mine.

Wrong, you're the one with the problem. If someone has a different view to you, you get personal. When someone has a good game, I say so, as I did earlier about Wood. Wood has been playing well recently because he's had Vydra alongside him, who you don't rate. Prior to that he was poor. However, Brady very rarely has a good game and the sooner he leaves the better.

So Wood is only playing well because Vydra is playing. Give me bloody strength. As for Brady rarely playing well, he had some really good games earlier this season and he did well when he came on today. Yet because he puts a free kick into the stand you start referring to egos. No I’m not getting personal at all, I’m just responding to your pathetic comments.

As I say, you just get personal if someone disagrees with you. Saying someone has a problem, or is pathetic, isn't being personal?

Never said you were pathetic - just that your comments were. But with your latest comment, and once again you are ruining the ratings thread, the comment is simply idiotic.

And the post you have just had removed was personal.

Oh, so will you now remove the posts that you wrote that had personal comments? No, of course you won't. It's all very one sided on here., isn't it?

I haven't made any personal comments whatsoever, I've commented on the nonsense you have posted, not you.

I'm singling Brady out as I thought he had a decent game and our resident Brady hater has the knives out again. One particular lovely ball inside set up the opportunity for Vydra's later effort. I think Brady would get criticised if he scored a hat trick, turned water into wine at half time and then walked across the Irish Sea by a certain poster.

Pope 7 - steady performance, looked comfortable
Lowton 6 - will be disappointed to have played on DCL for the goal, looked sharp going forward but gave the ball away more than usual
Tarkowski 7 - solid
Mee 8 - solid + nearly scored
Pieters 7 - Think we're very lucky to have Pieters as a backup, some great defending from Everton stopped him putting it on a plate for Wood late on
JBG 7 - Was so hopeful that effort from outside the area would sneak in near post. Great to see him back.
Brownhill 8 - Both CMs played well, I think this is as close as we come to dominating a game by forcing errors and catching teams on the turn rather than suffocating them with possession. Was good to see Brownhill getting on the end of moves a couple of times whereas earlier in the season our midfielders would still be on the halfway line. Hope that premier league goal comes soon
Westwood 8 -
McNeil 9 - Involved in nearly everything we did today, both his goal and that beautiful pass for Rodriguez late in the game coming in from the right makes you wonder how we can get him in a freer role without sacrificing our structure
Vydra 7 - Great intensity but wasteful of his two very good chances which is becoming a bit of a recurring theme. Still would start him and Wood.
Wood 8 - Took his goal VERY well, great to see him playing well, looks fitter.

Brady - 6 was fine I guess, if bringing him allows us to keep starting JBG then fair enough I guess

Pope 7
Lowton 8
Tark 6 Lost his man for the goal
Mee 7
Pieters 8 his delivery is better than Taylors
Mcneil 9 brilliant performance, found space so well.
Westwood 7
Brownhill 8 energetic, drove forward with the ball, broke up play, excellent in his natural position.
JBG 7
Vydra 9 involved in everything, first touch, movement, just missed a goal.
Wood 9 looked sharp, better with the ball at his feet with Vydra playing, excellent finish for the goal.

One of the best performances i've seen in a long long time, regardless of the result I loved it. Makes you wonder, when we can pass and move like that, on the front foot, why do we play negative long ball most weeks? so good to watch!

It seems that Lancs Live agrees with my assessment that Vyds is bringing the best out of Wood.

"Vydra produced another impressive showing with the 28-year-old full of running while he seemed to find space with ease.

His game is developing the more he starts with the frontman dropping into the pocket to link play and he seems to bring the best out of Wood, who now has six for the campaign and could yet hit double figures for the fourth season in a row."

Just saying like.

Good to see the childish era of Wooden has ended and you have decided to be a bit more respectful to Wood.

I wouldn't be in a rush to congratulate myself either due to lancs live having a similar thought as myself

Nice to see Tony's mates gather round to support him.

Funny isn't it, that the person who first coined Wood's wooden nickname, didn't get any gip, but I did. Strange.

Tony's mate ?

Nope just someone who sees a poster claim to be of mature age use names like Barny, Gudders and Wooden and shakes his head a bit

Now you are being a bit odd. What's wrong with Barny and Gudders? A lot of people use the same nicknames.

Still, if you want to show how 'Mature' you think you are, you have a go at me. At least while you do, you're leaving someone else alone.

He’s not the only protected species, another couple exist where any possible disagreements can quickly amount to bees around the honeypot even when valid points exist.

I've never known a BB like this one. Mods can be abusive and it's OK. They can also edid other people's posts willy nilly and completely change the original post. Complain and your post gets removed.
