Wood has certainly developed his game since playing with Vydra, become a lot better all round player. Linking up with players and passing to team mates in a better position.

Wood has 7 assists now (4 in his first 120 Pl games roughly). 3 in his last 4 games.

Some might say coincidence but he would certainly of shot 8 weeks ago instead of laying it off for Westwood yesterday.

Another game, and yet more irrefutable evidence that this is the case.

Yep, I agree - naturally. So good to see Wood expressing and exerting himself again.

Woods goal tonight came from Vydra running channel dragging one defender out. He still had a lot to do mind

It did indeed, along with a clever drag-back from Wood himself.

I don't think its because of Vyds or Barnes, although Vydra compliments him a lot more.
Wood has just improved his own game leaps and bounds this season. Brilliant to see, but it will be difficult to hang on to him if continues that track.

Wood also contributes well in defending corners and set pieces..that's sometimes overlookedl
