TBF everyone has known exactly how they're going to play since about October, but they've carried on picking up points.
They have, but knowing what to expect, and actually facing it is different.
Winning away to Leicester aside, they haven't had any results since December, that you would say was a shock. They've beaten an out of sorts Palace, and an out of sorts Newcastle, and a far from impressive Fulham. They got off to a flyer of a season, got lots of plaudits, yet sit only 4pts above a dire, anti football, relegation fodder, Burnley.
You can watch Leeds and ooze over their so called flowing football, but if you analyse them properly, you can see so many flaws to their game, especially the naive way they defend. I don't understand why the media and pundits can highlight one facet of their game, and completely gloss over the other.
I'll carry on thinking they will go down next season, unless they sort out that defence.

We'll see, I think with 2 or 3 good signings they'll be comfortable in mid table again. The difference with Sheff U is that Leeds have got 4 or 5 players who you feel are good Premier League players, whereas Sheff U were a workmanlike team who overachieved. How many of their players will be in demand this summer?

And do you honestly think Leeds will cock it up this summer in the way Sheffield United did last year?

I would say Leeds have two excellent Premier League players in Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, the rest fit into their system and are very fit and close down teams brilliantly. Bamford in addition has stepped up no doubt, can he do it again next season is the real question.

Their defensive set up at set pieces is frightening, no authority and confidence in dealing with good deliveries, they are a soft touch and this will have been identified and will be exploited. They are in dire need of a couple of dominant defenders, if they bring them in over the summer they will be fine, otherwise they may go backwards next season.
