Re: Season Ticket Question
Not a yes or no answer whiffa.
It might depend on why they closed the turnstiles . I guess if they’ve had to close them so suddenly with fans still not in the ground then something has happened. Get to the ground anyway because the chances are the kick off time will be delayed and you’ll get in once whatever has caused this sudden closure has been dealt with . Unless the game is abandoned then everyone is fed up , but safe.
Ok, there’s a lot of stretching there but I’m sure someone very clever can relate my little scenario to current times

Re: Season Ticket Question
The ballot system is shoute. They should have used the points system like they do for away games, true fans will miss out and the only winners will be the plastics.
I have been going home and away since 1972 and to miss out to the jonny come latlys isn't reyt
If I miss out to the likes of the Accy and Rossy clarets, Jonny come latelys and the new kids in town, I shall seriously have to consider my position as a Top Claret

Re: Season Ticket Question
They have said that if there aren't enough tickets to go round, the people who haven't got a ticket now will not get one. That suggests they won't have an opportunity to attend.Rileybobs wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 5:13 pmNobody has said, to my knowledge, that these fans won’t have an opportunity to attend games in the event of reduced attendances. I would have thought that only putting a small deposit down would be favourable to the same people who had reservations about renewing last time round.

Re: Season Ticket Question
The early bird period was closed early. I tried to renew online in late March last year and several times in April and May. All I got was a message in red stating "Season ticket sales are currently unavailable". I didn't panic as I assumed the club would make it clear when the early bird period would reopen and make it clear when it would close. Had I been given this closing date, I would have tried a different method of renewing if the online system still refused.
As far as I was aware the early bird period never closed and to now treat season ticket holders for next season differently is wrong.

Why would you try and buy one in April and May, when it was doubtful any fans would be allowed in?bob77 wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 7:23 pmThe early bird period was closed early. Re: Season Ticket Question
It's fairly Simple:
Phase one fans
Have had either full ST money with the club since 21st March 2020 or by installments over the course of the year.
Do not have a guaranteed seat, unless the government allow more than 55% of capacity of the ground.
If not, they have a Ballot for games.
Any restriction will mean they do not know where they will sit, to allow for social distancing measures.
No doubt any games they don't get are credited back to the onaccount and refunded.
Any restriction over 55% though and they have first shout on a ticket, which is fair (in my opinion) for buying blind
Phase two fans
Have no ST money with the club currently (ignoring 19/20 refunds).
A £10 deposit will register interest, but does not commit you to a purchase.
They will be allowed to ballot for any other tickets not taken by phase 1, if there is a restriction between 55% of the ground and 75%. If capacity is allowed over 75%, no ballot will be required for any phase 1 or phase 2 fans.
If it is a ballot system, they will be able to pay for the game, as and when they are successful.
If you don't like it, don't buy it
What's not to like?
Phase 2 are still in the position where you know what you're going to pay for, whereas Phase 1 do not. Phase 1 are rewarded if the situation allows.
Lets be honest though, the restrictions will mean everyone will need to ballot, or noone will. There's not a cat in hells chance they'll have a restriction between 50% and 75%. It'll be less than 50% or nothing.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Fingers crossed!
I was more confident before the escalation of the Covid variants in Bolton and Blackburn / Darwen, but hopefully this doesnt have an impact by the time the new season starts.

Re: Season Ticket Question
I thought I understood the Phase 1 and 2 season ticket renewals, with Phase 2 starting today for those 19/20 season ticket holders who did not renew due to Covid. This now seems to have changed again, with an update on the BFC web pages, saying further news within seven days.
Does anyone know what's going on please? I don't want to lose my seat.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Leisure, I know you’re mentioned this before but I can’t find the post. When does phase 2 expire, I wanted to know so that I can then see if there are anymore seats available that have not been renewed. We did get three together but they’re rubbish to what we had. Thank you.
Re: Season Ticket Question
It was only for a week. Starts on the 24th, so will end on the 30th. But I'll check that, as you never know, it could have changed by now!beddie wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 10:29 amLeisure, I know you’re mentioned this before but I can’t find the post. PS - The window is only for people to pay a returnable £10 deposit, as the club can't fully offer renewals until they know what crowds they can have on next season.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Thanks for your effort to help, but there doesn't seem to be any way to even pay a deposit at the moment. Just a page saying to expect an update within seven days. Trouble is, there are no dates shown, so I don't know how old the message is.
Edit: A new update has now appeared as follows.
"The second phase of sales, applicable to season ticket holders from the 2019/20 season who did not renew their seat, and 2020/21 season ticket holders who requested a full refund, will now commence from Monday, May 24."
Thanks again.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Phase 2 doesn't start until the 24th, so you can't do anything at the minute. Presumably the club will release some details this week.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 10:39 amThanks for your effort to help, but there doesn't seem to be any way to even pay a deposit at the moment. Re: Season Ticket Question
I can confirm what Leisure says. Been down this morning and told to come back next week. And they will only take £10 pound deposit to save them trouble if we can't all go on and they have to start with refunds.

Thank you for that Leisure. It’s probably worth me asking after the 30th, it might not make a difference but you never know. You’re doing a great job keeping us informed by the way.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Just another question, that I don't know if anyone at the club has thought of. I haven't seen any announcement.
Some of us still have 4 matches' worth of refund on our season ticket cards. These can only be used for buying new season tickets or for spending in the shop, and they expire on 30th June 2021. So if the club are also saying that they won't or can't sell season tickets to people who haven't yet got one, are they proposing to freeze onto this cash as a little transfer kitty bonus, or are they going to extend the deadline so our credit still has some value?
(I am also pursuing the idea that they will make repayments of this refund to people whose circumstances have changed in the last year. They have said that as a matter of general policy they are "unable" to, but I'm waiting for an answer re. particular circumstances. Specifically, will someone now aged 88 who is no longer fit enough to go on, be allowed her money back. I can't see any reasonable grounds they would deny that.)

Re: Season Ticket Question
DSR, e-mail the ticket office and they will transfer the funds from your TeamCard account to your OnAccount. From there you should be able to refund this onto your card.

After the Supporters' Groups approached the Club about this issue quite a few weeks ago, the Club then announced that they wouldn't expire on that date. Do TeamCard points expire and if so, when?
From 1st July 2019, you can begin collecting TeamCard points for the 2019/2020 season, which will in turn collect up until 30th June 2020. At this point, you will have up until 1st April 2021 to use your points before they expire*
*Update Feb 2021 - please note that the Club will extend the expiry date of the TeamCard points gathered in the 2019/20 season beyond the 1st April 2021 deadline mentioned above. We recognise that supporters have had restrictions placed upon the ability to use these points so we want to reassure all supporters that we will give you ample chance to use these points. Once we have further information regarding the extended expiry dates we will publish an update on this webpage. If you have further questions regarding expiry dates then please contact us.

Interesting the telegraph are reporting Fans to wear masks and will require a vaccine passport to attend games this season.
How does that affect fans that have purchased a season ticket but haven’t had the vaccine?

I dare say it'll be a while before anyone comes up with specific rules, in part because there's no knowing in the morning what the government's position will be in the afternoon. I might stick with non-league for a while. Come on the mighty Colne!

I called in at the ticket office yesterday as I have two relations who are looking to buy season tickets. The young lady could not give me too much information. She thought there would be no action taken for 2 weeks after 19th. July which would be 2nd. August, less than 2 weeks before the season starts....

Re: Season Ticket Question
Personally, I''m happy for a delay in this. I'm still undecided as to whether to get a season ticket, based on uncertainty about masks and arrival times and all the other effects and side effects of coronavirus precautions. I'm currently inclined to stick with non-league football for a season. But the more time I have to make my mind up, the better.

The Child cards are being dispatched separately yes, but if they don’t have it yet I’d ask the TO as they were being posted last week (the child ones that is) so they should have them by now I would have thought (same with disabled supporters Personal assistant tickets – as they are zero value too).

Response from the Club -
We will get the information out as soon as the chairman wants to go out really, as I mentioned in the meeting we have the Protocols and guidance for the stadium to operate, its really just waiting on the absolute green light from the government PL and PHE and so we are confident in the capacity to be operated at in august. Still a lot of guidance is in draft and so on Monday it should be confirmed.

Re: Season Ticket Question
I'm in Phase 2 for season ticket renewals and have just checked the BFC website about renewing my season ticket. My seat is now showing in my basket but it won't let me complete the purchase.
This message is displayed - "In order to purchase your selected product, Season Ticket 2021-2022, other products need to have been processed to meet the eligibility criteria. You must have Pre-Season TC Test. You will need to reallocate these items to another customer and update your basket."
Does anybody know what a TC Test is?
